Terry, As a Charonesse citizen for over 60 years, I have grown an immunity to any harmful effects of milk. The secret is that I prefer fat free milk without the cream. Funny - I like whipped cream, sour cream for potatoes, and fat-free yogurt but whole milk not only makes me fatter, gives me extraterrestrial gas, and makes me have frequent urgent urination. This is all probably way more than you wanted to know, but what the hay. Thanks for acknowledging my Charonesse heritage and the normal sensitivity of most Charonesse to regular milk. I do not consider acidophilus or soy milk as being milk products, much less drinkable without catching in one's throat on the way down.
