I suggest you go spend the night there....in a tent....with no flashlight.

People pay good money for that kind of thrill.

He stated he was in the Netherlands. So persimmons are likely not the species. Orange Quince Fruit may be possible as there are some growers near the Netherlands.

Again, nothing entirely unusual and certainly not paranormal do see an odd colored fruit or vegetable in a forest though

I would have taken it home, washed it, and eaten it. I love ghost peppers.

i would like to see the the stick that looks like the crows foot, and if it stuck around over night try to snap a few pics of the haunted pepper.

Sounds like a normal wooded area to me as well. I go out regularly to the swampy woods and there's a lot of stuff there that could be considered "freaky." I've been swooped on by owls (because there are nests nearby.) I've seen baby foxes jumping around in the brush, been followed by a fox. I've even had a coyote run across our path. (I usually walk with the dogs on lead.)

The area I go to is right off the potomac where they were building canals back in the late 1700s. So there's quite a lot of history.

No offense but you sound kind of young OP.

I'm glad you had fun and some thrills but nothing you've described sounds like anything other than an ordinary forest that you made into a monster in your mind.

Still though, some exuberance is always good - maybe do some research and see if you can backseat with a paranormal investigation group near you? Possibly experience something real, or at least gain some experience in rationalizing your excitement.
