How about forecasting the future one day, as may be a gesture of friendliness or future hope, *follow the white rabbit*. Hurray, sounds fun uh?!?! Then the next day, so to speak, suggesting you leave the domain while it goes ablaze. Getting back in time just enough to hear you pets screaming for help when you cannot do a thing. Perhaps maybe turning their screams of help into a last goodbye in your mind to settle the soul possibly. now you go and tell yourself that everything happens for a reason, the worse advice my mother has ever given me. Not words to live by, though they may be true... very much not words to live by.

I'm a victim of the peons that let the rulers perpetuate the system that you describe. They're dragging me into tyranny with them because of their ignorance and cowardice. I'm kinda pissed off about it.

I didn't go after him BECAUSE he's a white male. I'm sure other white males have posted in this thread and I didn't have a go at them... I have nothing against white males. I'm married to one. You're the one being coy. You know exactly what it's about, it's about an ideology and set of beliefs that are based on victimhood. We're talking about excessive political correctness and cultural Marxism. We're talking about liberals and social justice warriors pushing various thought crimes and shaming and outright harassing people expressing contrary views. We're talking about increasingly delusional displays by young people that have been taught and nurtured by this ideology their whole lives. We're talking about a self-organizing consensus that is losing it's touch with reality. Do you really not know of what we speak? You haven't seen the militant feminists terrorizing men's rights activists or shifting the blame from Islam to Christianity? Maybe you've been living in a cave but if we look at the politics of young people these modern extreme liberals - these so called social justice warriors(because they're self-righteous like that) - have spawned a whole reactionary movement that is anathema to all these things. If the OP had been as up front and honest about the topic as you were, then I would have immediately understood and moved on, because I'm just not interested. But as it was, the OP was very general and I wasn't at all sure what they were talking about. Only when the OP posted a link, did I become aware of the topic.

Yes, if you are white and male and you identify with those groups (or Christian), then you do not qualify to claim that you are a victim of anything, even when you are for being precisely what you are.

If you're in a divorce, it must be your fault and your wife gets all the legal sympathy (kids, property, etc.). Don't you dare claim that you are in any way a victim of the system though when you lose half your livelihood and your children. If you are a Christian and you stand up for your beliefs and get hammered by the PC police, don't you dare claim that it might have been in any way unfair.

My husband has lost two jobs because he was more or less a white male (he doesn't trade on his Native American blood) and quotas had to be filled. But of course, he can't claim he's a victim ... no one has any sympathy. Too many people are invested in keeping down The Man and getting their own back even if they haven't ever been victimized by him.

And when you spout the things you say and refuse to look at it objectively, it holds us all back because you perpetuate the idea that racism, sexism, etc., can only flow one way and that's the way that benefits you because the law puts you on top assuming you were victimized. And I say that as a woman, but then, I prefer to earn the things I get, not have them handed to me by a legal system that assumes I'm too disadvantaged to take them for myself.

Sorry for the mini-rant, but this all just ticks me off. It was much simpler when I was an athlete. I went. I busted my butt, and when I won, it was because I earned it. It had nothing to do with my beliefs or my skin color or anything else. It was because I put in the time and effort to bring home the gold.

... same with Scholar's Bowl, debate, forensics, the Science Olympiad, or any other competition I chose to compete in.

Yes. I know the routine, ignore the message and decry the messenger as a victim. Hah, how deliciously ironic isn't that? If only we could just ignore the social justice warriors but unfortunately they seem to have almost all aspects of the establishment firmly on their side, from corporations to education, politics and even science is not immune. See when this type of consensus and ideology is handed down from institutions controlled by a conglomerate of powerful interests I'm the type of person that takes notice and wonders why.

In my country violence is already a cornerstone of the "revolutionary left", they'll condone violence if they feel the need to and they regularly do which is worrying seeing as they have a morbid love affair going on with European MENA Muslims that have no compunctions about expressing their utter disdain for women and Western culture. Strange bedfellows indeed but the cognitive dissonance of this alliance seems to go over the head of these half-baked wannabe intellectuals.

The easiest way to combat this irrationality is to simply flip the situation. In this situation you're perpetuating an outdated and discriminatory paradigm of thought that disenfranchises and makes fun of an often picked on group. I don't think many of us feel like victims, we're just flipping the script and pointing out the severe hypocrisy of social justice warriors. It's not that we too want the state to hold our hand and tell us everything will be alright, it's simply that the whining and constant pandering of other groups is squeezing us into a corner because we're automatically thought of as some kind of oppressive group controlling everything(which is also ironic because liberals will tend to ignore facts that would incriminate some of the origins of their chosen(dispensed) ideology) when the fact is that we're the only group that isn't even allowed to organize by ourselves.

The truth is that the white male has been as oppressed as most other racial groups through history, the 20th century stands out as the only time that has bucked this trend. You think 19th century whites were living lavish and in luxury and riches stolen from around the World? We worked and died in mines for our rulers just like the Chinese did. We were poor and dirty peasants like the rest of 'em. The 20th century with its prosperous white middle class is a historical anomaly and the notion of whites having coasted through life living off the backs of others is a twisted liberal fantasy that has gradually been exaggerated all out of proportion. Slaves didn't build America, they were a fragment of the population, neither did they build Europe or initiate the industrial revolution. Our influence on the World has (naturally) been a double-edged sword but the vapid and superficial view of young liberals these days seem to lack any kind of nuance or intellectual honesty. The only ones who did profit and live lavishly were the 1% and they still do, all over the World and all I see are liberals (and conservatives) voting for the same old shills!..

It's utterly preposterous and ridiculous.. this is why I can't take adult society or humanity seriously. Humanity lost their sovereignty by freely giving it up as serfs. We're now about in that part of the game where they're making themselves ready to make it official and just come out and say it.

I think you spoke a lot of what the problem is for many "victims" that get "boo-hooed" as we saw earlier in a different post. (albiet a sarcastic post, but that post presented a lot of what's wrong)

It sounds like you have been through a lot, and feel like you aren't allowed to say anything about it because you're possibly white (at the least, your husband is white) and a conservative Christian woman. Don't get me wrong, I don't think you are wanting "victimhood" status, but there ARE things happening right now where many white people are getting the shaft on jobs, school etc solely due to their skin color. Liberal society won't allow you or your husband this "victimhood" because they hate your guts. They will never admit it of course, but their daily vitriol toward you and others like you and/or your husband is clear as day.

After all, white conservative (Right-Wing evil) Christians are now being collectively called racist bigots simply for who they are.

There is a whole other world of racism now that goes unseen, un-noticed, and it's going to get worse. I feel bad for anyone who is married to a one-sided racist liberal right now....
