Yep. It was apparently a popular usage amongst cannibals. It was said that human meat most closely resembles pork in texture, color, taste, and consistency.
That kind of disappoints me. I was hoping for somethingmore exotic. Like venison, or 'Squatch.

Well, maybe diminished then. I'd wager a survey of 1000 people 70 years ago would turn up more recognition of the term than that same survey now.

my first results were in the same context I'm just being difficult. (it was my first time hearing it though)

didn't get a ton of sleep.

I'd eat anything rather than die maybe.. I think.. Not sure.

But honestly, it would have to be a truly desperate situation for me to eat a dog. Like I said earlier, I've always had dogs. I love them.
