My adult daughter said a whole lot of stupid people would vote for Oprah because they love her.

However, I don't think it would work.

She is an extreme liberal Democrat
and I don't see her running on a Republican ticket.

Actually a lot of stupid Republicans would vote for Trump, because they watch his show and think he is so great.
A lot of stupid Democrats would vote for Oprah because she is black, a woman, and projects such a lovely image, as well as being a smart business woman.

As an independent ticket, they would probably win a lot of votes.

My daughter's thought was that this ticket would strip the Democrats of votes, enabling an easy Republican win, if they run as independents and not on the Republican ticket.

My thoughts: as an independent ticket, it just might be a winner.
Not because it would be a good ticket,
but because most people are not politically savvy
and it would draw out a great number of couch potatoes,
who live off TV and drool at the alter of the screen on the wall,
who could swing the vote enough to actually win.
Maybe Trump knows what he is proposing, a truly
winning ticket in the age of mass media.

I think he should have a televised competition for a running mate. Maybe a Fear Factor type deal where potential running mates have to perform stunts like see who can hold the most live Australian cave spiders in their mouth.

Trump puts up $50 mil and if he drops out or fails to get the nomination, the running mate gets the cash.

Ya know what we should do, we should bait Trump into revealing the existence of aliens or some such thing as a way of winning the election.

His platform: Legalized pot, Ufo disclosure and trump towers in every state.
His slogan: Why the hell not? World War III will kill us all either way.

Actually Trump should get Rosie O'Donnell as his running mate.

I would vote for them just to watch the dynamics they have with each other.
