I'd take a fiscally and socially conservative Bible Thumper over HIllary or Sanders anyday.

At least I know where I stand with Bible Thumpers... with Hillary or Sanders, all bets are off.

I'll keep my guns and my religion, thanks.

I sent him an email and told him all my ideas. I do that with every candidate that I am interested in. No one listens, obviously, or the world would be a better place.

The world would be a better place if they listened to you?

You don't even know what you're talking about. Your just tossing out some key words with some other ones and creating a BS straw man argument with no explanation and no content. In other words, you're full of sh*t.

Why don't you explain what is so bad about unions first of all. Not just how they operate today but the idea behind what they are and why it's so bad.

Next the liberal "trash" label is really nothing more than childish name calling which you again provide no explanation for or any reasoning behind saying it.

Next, why don't you explain to us what a Democratic Socialist actually is and why it's so terrible.

Finally, I don't even understand the "Barak Clinton/Hillary Obama" comment. This thread isn't about either the Clintons or Obama, neither of which are Democratic Socialists either. Some might even say they aren't very good Democrats at all.

Well.

Can anybody point out a head-to-toe solution plan from Bernie?

How can he get something that benefits the majority of Citizens?

If you're not going to do something about the flood of foreigners who drive wages down, you're just another whiner.

Can you explain how that works exactly??? What wages are they driving down and how??? Are these legal or illegal foreigners you're talking about???

The constant over-supply of labor through 4 million immigrants per year means that employers can offer lower wages. If the labor market were tightened up by reducing in influx of immigrants, competition for workers would cause wages to rise. Read up on early 20th century when the same thing happened.

Why not blame the people hiring them??? Corporations leave the states because they can get slave labor in other countries. Now you're saying that people hire immigrants here too so they can have slave labor. Sounds to me like we should be blaming those in charge of hiring them more than them for wanting to work somewhere. If someone wasn't so willing to break the law and hire them in the first place they wouldn't be coming here like they are.

You want businesses to do the things you want because you think it's moral. Besides obeying the law the only moral to business is to make money and more money. It's not about anything else, sorry. To change what businesses do, you have to change the economic conditions that affect them, not give them a lecture. I would like to see more applied economics to make our lives better, and less catchy slogans.

You're the one bringing up morals not me. There are laws dealing with who is and who isn't allowed to work legally here. If someone hires someone who isn't legal to work here then they've broken the law. If they hire someone who is legal to work here but won't pay them at least the minimum wage in that area then again they are breaking the law. We have a situation where employers are doing both, hiring illegal workers and paying them below what is legal so they can make more profit. The difference is you blame desperate people who will work those jobs because they don't have other choices whereas I blame who is responsible for those situations which is the business who is knowing breaking the law.

I'm not giving anyone a lecture and I hardly need you to school me on what a business is meant to do. So I'll ask my question again. Why do you blame the immigrants rather than the businesses that are hiring them??? Do you think it should be allowed for businesses to do whatever they want to maximize their profit??? You say you want to see better economics to "better our lives", well, I think making them follow the law would be one way to accomplish that don't you???

Oh god. No bible thumpers, please. I know where they stand too. No problem with discrimination against homosexuals...creationism taught in schools...major cuts to women's healthcare....No environmental protections...that's just for starts.

In any case. I'd take anyone over Bush or the rest of those bible thumpers.

You're missing the point. It's an economic problem, not a legal one.

No, I think you're missing the point. You said the "economic problem" comes from to many immigrants driving wages down. I'm saying that same "economic problem" doesn't come from immigrants working for less money but from the businesses who hire them and pay them those small wages which is illegal for them to do in the first place.

I know it's an economic problem. But it's one that wouldn't be there if we enforced the Law which is in place already. It's not the immigrants causing the problem it's businesses who operate illegally and hire those immigrants for slave wages that are causing the problem.

He's just another herder looking for his sheep. He will definitely find plenty of them on this site. There hasn't been one politician in office in my entire lifetime that wasn't a scumbag and only looked out for themselves. Until that changes, screw voting!

if you don't vote, you have no right to complain.

Last I checked Freedom of Speech allows me to complain about whatever I want. Its to bad the voters keep electing politicians that are taking away our rights. But, here soon you may be right so keep on voting and prove your point.
