I think ISIS has forgotten British history. If Hitler couldn't make us cower by dropping thousands of bombs from the air, some poxy religious nutter with delusions of virgins in an afterlife ain't gonna achieve much.

ISIS is a joke. I won't be taking their threats seriously. My uni is near Covent Garden and travel there daily. They certainly can't frighten me.

Do you even know how the Internet and social media work?
You don't need to apply to create a Twitter account, you can create twenty in an hour.
Do you really think it's possible for millions of accounts to all be monitored, checked for content, and then constantly banned as required?

Intel services monitor communications, they monitor followers, see who they follow and what they are tweeting, then they go after them. Seems to be working pretty well too.

Yeah there must be close to 1billion Twitter accs alone...

& it's much more anonymous than Facebook.



They have to be reported for any action to be taken.



I suppose Intel could search keywords like bomb & terror, but there must be 100,000 of those per hour...
Impossible to monitor manually.

The FBI has been ignoring this guy for quite a while. So much for the "see something say something" policy that's supposed to make us all feel better.

To be honest, if i was running Intelligence Ops i would leave the guy alone as well - by that i mean covert observation rather than rush in and arrest him. People like him can be extremely useful intelligence tools.

Or, to put it another way, he doesn't seem to be actively involved but he does seem to know what is going on. Milk him for all he is worth and when he has outlived his usefulness, bring him in.

Jester, famous hacker apparently, says that the attack is going down on Wednesday according to sources....
