Twitter feed on this saying that Al-Manar TV is confirming it. Not sure what the truth is to this but that would be pretty crazy.

Twitter Source

Al-Manar TV confirms

A military coup in Syria and fierce fighting around the presidential palace in Damascus

I have yet to find it on Al-Manar's site though. It is popping up in a few twitter feeds at this time.

I believe the twitter feeds that are popping up on it are IS or supporters of IS. There are a few reporting it, but have yet to find a true news source though they are claiming it was from Al-manar TV.

hmmm if they storm the palace and Assad goes it could mean the collapse of the rest of Syria to ISIS. Not a pleasant thought.

Nothing good can come out of this. If they topple to guy - any organised resistance to ISIS in Syria is going to collapse, and it is then all-in for ISIS to declare Syria as one of its regional offices. Saudi money will then flush in, and consolidate salafite rule of the place.
After ISIS done with Syria, it will re-focus on genociding anyone else but their own liking between Aleppo and Baghdad. After which it will lynch Libonanon and Hezbollah.

To go and try Israel - they'd be just stupid. But Jordan - yes, that's a piece.

There are a lot of ISIS fanboys on twitter. They're notorious for making up stories.

Reuters

Islamist rebels and the Syrian army fought fierce battles in Latakia province overnight close to President Bashar al-Assad's ancestral home, the army and rebels said, after weeks of insurgent gains in the country's northwest. Rebels seeking to topple Assad have in the past sought to bring their four-year-long insurgency close to coastal areas in government-held Latakia, heartland of Assad's minority Alawite community. An army source told state news agency SANA fighter jets hit insurgent hideouts in the northern Latakia countryside with "tens killed and wounded." Latakia is the main port in Syria and along with the capital Damascus is one of the most important government-held areas in the country.

Well that is interesting...makes me wonder if there is some truth to the tweets then.

Well congratulations the US just started WWIII
Reuters

The U.S.-led military coalition launched 18 air strikes in Syria and Iraq against Islamic State since early Thursday, the Combined Joint Task Force said in a statement. The seven strikes targeting the militants in Iraq struck five units of Islamic State fighters and destroyed several fighting positions and other targets near the cities of Bayji, Falluja, Mosul, Ramadi and Tal Afar, the task force said on Friday.

Happy first May.

Great, expect more sinking boats of immigrants fleeing Syria for Italy or Spain ending up drowned. (Not their fault).

Thanks a bunch America, you're such a great ally.

America is NOT our ally. America is NOT our friend.

What about Iran? After seizing control of Syria, with all the captured firepower from the former Assad regime's military including chemical weapons wouldn't ISIS march their forces into Iran?

Well we all know the Saudis aided ISIS and the US government aided the Saudis, so isn't the US government in a way guilty by association?

Lots of propaganda and shady presence in the middle east, take everything with grain of salt that comes from there.

This chaotic-destructive drama has been going on forever.. and since 9/11 excuse, it's rapidly been a focal point in media.

What are the controllers planning?

More control of course.

Italy has their own rioting issues going on at the moment...

Either way, it is not because of the US that people are fleeing Syria....
