this issue is probably scaring the crap out of non-christian religions/atheists who also don't want to be forced to work at gay events (not because they believe gays shouldn't have the same rights, but because some heteros are extremely uncomfortable around gays)

However the scope of the thread wasn't about discussing LGTB but threads about them. Look how interestingly in this thread things are being twisted and slowly is derailing from it's initial direction and is becoming a usual gay-anti gay debate. Despite my claim more than once that the thread is not about liking or not liking gays. Should I say more?

"Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction between government and society. As a result of this, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude that we object to its being done at all. We disapprove of state education. Then the socialists say that we are opposed to any education. We object to a state religion. Then the socialists say that we want no religion at all. We object to a state-enforced equality. Then they say that we are against equality. And so on, and so on. It is as if the socialists were to accuse us of not wanting persons to eat because we do not want the state to raise grain."

Maybe. I don't usually do it. But I also hear the expression We Learn From The Best.

if the amount of fussing people do about a different lifestyle, were actually true, that would mean every atheist is secretly a closet religious person and every religious person is secretly a closet atheist

hehe

gays have a louder voice nowadays. if they would receive the same rights as every one else, they wouldn't have to be so loud.

So is that what you do, any time anyone calls you on your BS you then attempt to deflect it with some sort of they must be gay insult?

Insecure much with your own sexuality?

Maybe, but then there's no laws being written to tell atheists which bathroom to use or to cheer on every business that wants to deny service to a Christian. Just sayin'. And let's not even discuss the appalling lack of conversion therapies for straight folks....

And that's what you do when someone doesn't think the same as you? Name call his opinion as BS and when the person is willing to stand for his own opinions, start insulting and gaying up the conversation as a method of psychological pressure?

That was the dominant line of thought about every minority group. There are always new things to whine about. These days some of them have moved on to microaggressions and worrying about whether or not we have used the word black in a way they might consider inappropriate.

You know what I think?

I think that when I think about my parents getting it on it disgusts me, but I still love them.
