April Fooled!

Well, I've already fallen for one fake story today.

Robert Pattinson CONFIRMED as Negan in 'The Walking Dead'

Following the tense and bloody Season 5 finale of The Walking Dead I thought that we'd be doomed to a long summer devoid of walkery goodness, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. An announcement from AMC earlier today confirmed that former Twilight saga star, Robert Pattinson, has been cast as the ultimate Big Bad from the comic series, Negan!

Yes, it is a nice view indeed. And it's not a horse, it's something called "logic and common sense".

My mum sent me a text telling me it was snowing...

Didn't get out of bed to check...

But the lack of snow when I finally got up and left the house told me it wasn't quite true!


Can't say I fell for it though.

Internet pranksters are the worst, if you fell for them shame on...shame on you, if you fool me you can't fooled again.

Most of us were anticipating online pranks so we knew what to expect-and it's funny when you see people fall for them.

I saw a news in physics about the CERN discovering "The Force" (the one in Star Wars).

I didn't fall for it. Here are the reasons why:

-There are four forces in the Universe, thus "The Force" is by itself a contradiction

-The article showed a man shooting electricity with his bare hands whereas I know that human tissue would undergo destruction under such high-voltage currents

-I knew today was April First.

Oh, is is absolutely funny. When I read that this morning I didn't think of the date. I thought it was pretty funny once I realized what it was, which is why I shared it here.

This thread is in the spirit of admitting that one can fall for simple things. I have no hubris with admitting what I've been taken for, unlike others here.

The April Fool day I really come across something I cannot see through, I will be glad to say "this one really got me". But until now I have yet to see such a prank...

Don't get me wrong-we all have been caught off guard, But the internet pranks are to be expected and half of them are blatantly obvious.

I had an April fool joke played on me one time. I had a while you were out note on my desk. It said Mr Lyons called. So I called the number. The person on the other end picked up and said
