Well, since we did not find out the sex of our impending baby (due Aug 1) we have chosen names for both.
Zachary Nicholas for a boy and Sophia Lee for a girl.
Back up names are Patrick James or Syndey Lee.

Well, my mother called me Jesus and my sister Christ, I think those were her favorites.

I personally like Little Bastard...

Oh there's always one isn't there!!

I like Mia, Poppy, Willow, Harriet and Zandra.

I'd love a little girl when the time is right, but I guess I'll get whatever I'm given....

If I was to have a boy it would probably be called one of these.. Leighton, Hugh, Harvey, Kieron or Aaron.

I like Sky too, that's the name of my beagle. So there is no way I could use it for a baby.

We knew our baby would be a girl but we didn't decide until we had seen her.
I really liked Io but in Greek mythology she was turned into a heiffer after being ravaged by Zeus. The myth said the heiffer was very beautiful but my wife just wouldn't budge on it.
I also looked at Isis.

In the end she was named Eleanor but I still think Io is cool.
She should of been the first to spell her name.

We actually thought of using Isabel, Illmatic. I too like that name.

JB, Io is cool but man, your daughter would have killed you in your sleep when she found out the story behind Io!!!

well i called my 2 girls Samantha and Katie...

Naming your child has got to be one of the hardest things to do,well i found it to be..

I'm partial to reasonably uncommon names. I'm Jessica and my brother is Steven, and we both had at least 3 other kids with those names in our classes at school. (My mom claims she named me before Jessica became popular, but Jessica has been in the top 10 girls' names in the US from the early 80s until a few years ago.) kind of a pain to have someone shout your name in a crowd and 9 times out of 10, they're not looking for you

someone in this thread mentioned Samantha and Sophia, I like those. haven't really thought about boys' names, though.

I'm with you morning. That's why when I have kids I'm going to be sure to give them unique names.

Girls - Hopelynn Leanne, and Alexxi Lenae
Boy - Christian Bradford

I may be partial, the girls names are my daughters, the boys is my son(supposed to be anyway, acording to the ultrasound) that is on the way, due on August 10
