That's my choice too, the Dredd gun.

Also the gun from Portal

The 'point of view' gun from Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy... would come in handy and eliminate most lethal force needs.

That or a pistol sized magnetic railgun that shoots sliver clusters of ceramics at hypersonic velocity... or phased plasma... sure, why not. Then again, those guns might already exist!
