As for the debate on a anti-christ and who and what not. The christ figure is a representation of what religion would have you believe is an ideal for mankind the christ being seen as the good guy or the way to lead your live in a "good" manner. The anti-christ idea is the opposite of this it is used to brand people as "bad" or people you shouldnt not want to have any dealings with.

While if common sense is used one can understand that the notion of a anti-christ is something every living entity has in them. by the choose we make in our daily lives we can choose to be the christ(good) or the anti-christ(bad), its the age old "fight" of good vs evil evil vs good. for there can not be evil without good.

So just to try and burn the OP for his somewhat lacking post and to demonstrate the above mentioned idea in effect.
In your reactions to some post in this thread you in a way acted like an anti-christ, trying to flame people over a idea coupled with data which is in no way varified just because they have a different idea about what you stated then you do.

But good sir is evil and good not the concept or ideals that were created by man? If we consider the fact what if something that is evil could be for the greater good? Does that then not make it good?

Or the bible could be the evil corruptness, deliberately invented by men versed in the ancient mysteries that knew of an angel to be sent to earth to remove the evil control of mankind on it's fellows and prevent the destruction of the earth and they knew that their power as men controlling women and having power over others via money and politics would be forever denied them and they hence decided on creating a story as an attempt at controlling the minds of mankind against recognising the good and those of angelic realms.

That is an example, it could be something like that.

You should at least be aware that the world is run by corruptness and they are more connected in their evil deeds than they want you to know.

Theories on the Antichrist. Well here's mine. After looking at the bible and this end times bit for awhile I have these theories.

The first century Jews broke the first century Apocalypse. This was supposed to have been over and done with 1900 years ago. The problem was this. They killed Elijah the prophet. But looking at the book of Malachi the problem was he wasn't supposed to die. The job of "messiah" here was supposed to have been a 4 man job. The Lord, The two messengers of Malachi also known as the branches of Zechariah, and Elijah the prophet. One messenger was present at the rebuilding of the 2nd temple. And the Lord and Elijah the prophet appeared in the first century AD according to the New Testament. But the bible doesn't record the appearance of the 2nd messenger. There is still one to go. And per the prophesies of Zechariah he has the obligation of rebuilding the 3rd Jewish temple. And per Revelation the branches of Zechariah are also the witnesses of Revelation.

So what has to happen to get to the Antichrist is this. The branch has to appear and rebuild the Jewish temple. Shortly after that he is killed in a confrontation with the enemies of Israel. This causes the Gog-Magog disaster of Ezekiel. Then there is the 7 year cleaning up period to follow. Also it appears that Gog-Magog is a worldwide disaster causing the destruction of a number of nations. This causes the creation of 2 super states called the kingdoms of the north and south in Daniel 11. And then according to Daniel these super states get into a war that ends at the battle of Armageddon.

The Antichrist shows up as the 3rd ruler of the kingdom of the north. And I put that event as happening somewhere between 2022 to 2025. 7 to 10 years from now. With May 15 2028 as the last possible date for the start of the 1000 year reign of the saints of Revelation.

As of right now it is still impossible to tell who exactly is the Antichrist but I can tell you this about him. He's an American. And is probably already in the American Government at this time. But if he is in the government already he is probably low level at the moment. Governor possibly. Or a congressmen. But he's probably not well known at the moment.

I will attempt to reply to you both in this one post as both your replies somewhat tie in to what my point was and it seems it didnt rly come over as I intended it too.

I have to agree that good is evil and evil is good as long as it is for the benifet of everybody. Meaning a man killing his wive over a marital dispute could be considered a evil man and the Anti-Christ, cause of the harm he caused over his own hurtings.

On the otherhand one could say that killing Hitler and saving the millions of lives he is in one or another way responsible of ending could be considered good and therefor that person could be seen as a Christ figure.

But all of these things come with a seperate set of guidelines on wheter or not they are good or bad. One could argue that the millions of lives lost in WW2 are also for the greater good as that war brought us most electrical device we have now. The computer was invented to crack the german Enigma code leading to the device we use in our daily lives. Thru the experimentations done by people like Mengele we got a great leap in medical sciences. The Atom bomb now powers our cities. Thanks to the use of jet fighters we got the commercial air industry and so on.

And here is where the archtypical ideas of a Christ and Anti-Christ come in. on a larger scale one can say that a event like WW2 is a good thing and resembles the actions of a Christ figure. Because all of these developments are in a way for the benefit of all. on a smaller scale they could be seen as a Anti-Christ because of what they did to those people in the camps and what have you on a personal scale.

Its not a simple as saying something is good or bad and therefor falls into the either one of the two catagories it applies differently to different situations as shown above.
To eleborate on this a bit futher using somewhat current events, 9/11 can be considered an Anti-Christ move as it only helps the people in power to stay in power and further there agenda. We the people respond to this in a Anti-christ way by letting it all happen as these wars and fights arent benificial to all but a select few.

For us to protest and rise against these wars and demand our freedoms and peace on this world could be considered a Christ move as now we come up for the greater good which is a peacefull world. This peacefull world I believe is what the second comming of the Chist is about.

if you where to look at the prophecies made in the bible regarding the Anti-Christ, he is allready here and working hard, and not by leading the armies of hell in a straight fight against man. But by leading man against other man, and making us wanting it to happen. The returning of the Christ can therefor also be seen as the people of the world standing up for which is good and just for everybody not a select few.
Hench man in a natural postition can be both Christ and Anti-Christ its the choices we make that define which one we are for that choice, it thus is bigger then just "Thou shall not ...."

I'm nearly 60 years old. I know what good and evil are. I also know what gray areas are.
Why the big long speech. All I was saying was that this part of the story was not strictly about a lesson in being good or not it was a prophecy. A pridiction. Doom porn of its day but apparently without an expiration date.

PS I'm a pagan not a Christian. And I'm a big believer in the scientific theory and procedures where things are provable and repeatable.
However that doesn't mean I don't see the mystery and wonder in the world and still leaves room for the mystical.

Your so-called 'feelings' are being fed to you by an outside force. Obama may not be THE anti-Christ, but he is AN anti-Christ. He obviously a Muslim like his brother, father, mother, and the vast majority of his family. ISIS is a tougher nut to crack, I can see them rising up to become the Beast, then again it could all just be a precursor to the real deal. We'll just have to wait and see.

The whole "big speech" is an failed attempt to try and bring across the point that EVERY person in its own way can be a Christ or Anti-christ, it isnt just about good, bad or grey areas.

I live with people that are saying "well the stuff that happens in this world is ok cause it is what Revelations says will happen". Paganism which for me equals Gnosticism is clear in that we as a individual/groups of people and as an entire species are RESPONSIBLE for what happens in our world. So by just letting it happen we are letting the "Anti-Christ" come up and rule. Making us the same as he is the Anti-Christ. In that sense we can all be a Christ or Anti-Christ.

on a somewhat side note.

True prophecy cant be done because of free will if only one link in the chain of prophecy decide to not do that it breaks. After pauls second denying of Jesus he could have thought "hey wait a minute" maybe stopping him from doing it the 3th time. The book of Revalations works in the same way we are expacting those things to happen so we arent shocked about it and ok with them happening.
If the two of us where to stand infront of a closed room and i tell that its dark in there but save and ask you to enter the room you probably wouldnt mind. but if i told you there was light and there was only darkness you probably wouldnt enter.

True prophecy could be done in this case because John said it was given to him by God himself. If you believe in that then of course there is no free will involved. The omnipotent has stated it as fact not probability.

Its a he. He will claim divinity and will perform many miracles. His disecption will cause lots of change. But before he comes out there will perhaps be a reduction in population or more of the population in "megacities". This will make it easier to sway people (in large numbers). Napoleon was a great strategist during his time so that means the 3rd will be a strategist beyond anyone in history of man. Now if you put religion into play he or she will probably be a new born Christian or a Muslim.

Either way, I am worried as there is no way of telling how evil the 3rd will be compared to the other 2. So we have another 10-11 years before he or she rises to power and that means the world is going to be thrown into total chaos. Thus my children lets relax and stop freaking out we still got a good 10-11 years on top of how long he or she will reign upon the Earth.

Now lets theorize what he or she will use to rise to power.
