Today is Darkblade's birthday,
a little birdie told me so...
So please wish him "Happy Birthday" here,
before you have to go.

Famous for his coffee drinking,
He's a pretty friendly guy...
So some rhyming was in order,
couldn't let it pass me by.

Hope your day is bright and sunny,
have a java (or a beer)...
Just remember that your friends are
everywhere...including here!

I didn't save it.
I found out yesterday, in someone else's birthday thread...that today was Darkblade's. I left a birthday rhyme, and said that I was going to write him a poem too, lol...so I guess I should try again.

Today's is Darkblade's birthday,
a little birdie told me so...
So wish him "Happy Birthday" here
before you have to go.

He's the king of coffee drinkers,
and he starts a thread or two...
A friendly sort of chap, the kind
you always wished you knew.

Like intrepid said... we've been having some troubles this week with duplicate threads.

But I was able to find the original one which included the poem and I've posted the poem into the OP.
