What happened to the donation bar?

Is this a good sign or a bad one?

I was planning on donating when Christmas was finally recovered from so is the target reached for now?

Also have the ddos attack subsided any or are they still in effect?

Yeah, this has me somewhat nervous as well...Here's hoping it's a good sign....

Agreed. But then again, if the worst were to happen, you'd think it'd be up all the way through to the end, to help recoup the losses...

That's what I was hoping- but If the target funds were met than we would've heard about it by now. I donated a few days back and I was not the only one to donate.

Me too, although I doubt they recouped everything. But I'd be willing to bet that having that up there every day ate at the innards of Bill and Mark every time they looked at it. It went against everything they have stood for, for so, so long. They sucked it up, did it, and got rid of it as soon as possible is my guess.

Thats a shame if the case as I and imagine others have not yet had the chance to donate and I was planning to give more over time as finances allowed, I imagine that a one of hit will not solve the ongoing issues indefinatley.

I'm very glad it's gone.

I think it seriously lowered the tone of the site.....

If the Management team are unable to find sufficient income streams on their own, it is a poor show if you ask me!
