I'm not too surprised at that. I figure that every little individual pixel sensor in the imaging system has its own unique characteristics

the Sensor doesn't have this bias , it reacts to light variances , it doesn't have a beginning pattern i.e before the shot is taken , ( asides from photocell burnout or something on the lens, these are a kind of compression artefact or moiré pattern ..ive not looked yet over a longer stretch , but ide bet I would find little variance in this pattern,

your gifs show it better in this instance of 1052

photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov... (TIF recommened)

Is hard to view, because the photo is to big, but you can enlarge and view the zoned marked.

Reptilian head statue very defined with eyes, nose and mouth. Is like the statues of reptiles here in Earth.

no worries, I thought you had used the pen tool , was going to suggest unlocking the background layer so you can remove the black ,might print off an interesting badge

you, me and the entire scientific community, can you imagine the uproar that this community would go through if they found out there was a two tier space programme, with all the necessary evidence to leave no doubt

all that time invested when a few had all the keys anyway..
all those years of combined work and research. for nothing

I wonder what angry scientist are like en masse
