Exactly. This is why about 90% of the time, I support the cops in these situations.

So at this point are people outraged or following a trend?

Seems like people try to gain attention for themselves over this event more than anything.

So there were more items in his receipt than he had in his cart. Is this a new trend for shoplifting ? Guy is an idiot and drama queen because it seemed to serve him in this situation, cop handled situation very well and not once lost his temper. I kinda would like to know did he actually drove off with the "merchandise"...
