Look, I refuse to post on threads about dogs farting or threads complaining about threads about dog farts…

its a waste of my farting time.

The porn fairy thread will be worked on sometime this week and I will send it over to Cody for approval before posting as apparently he saw his arse this morning when he got out of bed and I don't want to upset his widdle feelings

haha dude i had the same thought when the i saw the orginal thread...the member is well respected here and i have enjoyed his comments in the past....i kept thinking..someone hacked his account lol

ats has been crap lately...not just for the lack of creative threads (my fault included) but the wars over opinions...you could say the sky is blue and someone will say its not there, someone will say its pink sometimes...even though it is blue mostly...and someone will mention something completely else.

At least you all know this was written tongue in cheek and are going with the humour aspect.

Unfortunately I seen this as well. Both of the threads, right there next to each other in the most flagged column. I could not believe it and quite honestly, at that moment, was a little embarrassed to be a member of a site with such ignorant threads/titles. Glad to know that it was not just me that was put off by these, I thought perhaps I was just having a bad day and was being a little harsh. In these kinds of cases I just do not click into said thread. I dont mind them using their freedom of speech and all, I just dont think that a conspiracy website would be the ideal place to do so.

it was a nice distraction from the insane news of the day. Sometimes you have to walk on the silly side for a moment. And with 23 flags, apparently a few folks felt that way. I know I enjoyed the timing.

See... My feeling on that? Sure - it's a nice distraction - but if I want my top stories to be about dogs farting, or boobs, I'll flip around Facebook for 5 minutes. I come to ATS to get All of the NEWS as soon as it drops - when a dog fart is on the front page, it detracts from what ( here it comes ) I feel the site is really about.

Take that for what you will, that's just my two cents. I feel like ATS is one of the last viable news sources that exists - I personally hate to see it clouded ( at least 'top story' sections ) with stuff that has no pertinence to news or the like.

I understand where your coming from but ats is a community and although I do not want to come here to read about dog farts and crazy cat pictures I find it agreeable to be able to see the members here as real people and not just a bunch of UFO hunting hippy ass conspiracy nuts convinced that they can see the truth.

It makes it more real.

My simple opinion thats all.
