I do agree we do complain with regards to the erosion of our freedom and ordinarily I wouldn't want to see something like this in place, but the reality is screening is a half measure, it isn't necessarily going to stop it entering the country, but at least it looks as though they are trying to prevent it.

Whereas only screening volunteers really doesn't acheive anything, it is a waste of money and the chances of catching someone through the system is unlikely.

I would say the proceadures as they stand currently have been put there more for show than for any practical use enforcement of these proceadures would fulfill.
