2014 Added to the Georgia Guidestones (video)

Heya,

Been following the thread.

I was wondering if anyone else thinks as I do that Elbert County put the blocks there for the attention and potential tourism dollars?

Elbert put a lot of money in to having trash and grafitti removed from the site, and having the stones renovated. They also increased security.

The blocks wouldn't be there if Elbert didn't want them to be.

It's just more silliness.

It'd be real nice if people read it before they comment on how horrific it is. Because it's mostly a plea for common sense among nations and peoples, something we could use a bit more of.

Yeah, that's the copy I already have. Difficult to read - it appears that someone photographed it rather than scanning it in, then appended part of Thomas Paine's "Age of Reason" to it.

From what I've read so far, I wouldn't want to meet this Christian guy in a dark statehouse.

Also spoke to someone in the Rosicrucian order just now and would like to share what they said but am greatly afraid it will be taken out of context. I will paraphrase:

There are those in this world that have taken it upon themselves to watch and seek truth. They are a peaceful band and are in direct moral contradiction to those that want to shape the world for their own purposes. . . A transition is coming, it could be anything, the placement of the '2014' has been recognized as a starting point and will be directly triggered in the English speaking world. This symbol marks the time to come forward and choose what is important and worth fighting for or risk it's loss for generations to come. . .

Very nice person and I actually like what they are trying to do with their order. If it were closer to me I would definitely consider going and listening to them at some point.

Lets see.... we had Y2K, the Myan thing, 2012, some Nubiru thing, Brother Camping....... twice or ? three times. (by the way, I liked listening to him on shortwave radio) probably a dozen Nostradamus things by now. A few Solar flares, threats of Yellowstone, North Korea, the latest Ayatollah , birds falling out of the sky, Sinkholes swallowing up Corvettes, Global warming, Global cooling, beheadings, bombings, and now these Guide stones. I think their time on site is limited, surprised someone hasn't stolen the camera's lol.... ahhhh I think I'll just go enjoy some lemonade......... and let Georgia take care of the stones...

Here is a newly posted YT vid of the 2014 cube being removed. We can now see what each side is inscribed with: MM, JAM, 08, 16, 20, 14

MM JAM 08/16/2014? Anyone know what that could mean? I can't think of anything that happened on August 16.

Edit: On second thought, perhaps a better question is what didn't happen on 8/16/14?

Just a thought. There is a cutout in the center block where Polaris, the North Star, could be seen. The North Star changes over time as the rotational axis of the earth changes its orientation. The path through the 360 degree planetary procession moves slowly through the ~26,000 year cycle pointing at something slightly different as it moves 1 degree over 72 years.

The 2014 year marker may have designation the year that Polaris was no longer in the viewing window. 8/16/14 is a little more specific but I'm just guessing. MM and JAM may be the initials of the people who made the block.

I think it's premature to destroy it. Do they know for certain who put it there? Or why?

What was the purpose of it?

Yeah, it should have its own thread. Looks like the county of Elberta decided the blocks weren't official doom-porn.

Could the date not be 14th of the 8th, 2016?

They shouldn't have destroyed it. Right now it is part of the lore of the monument. We don't know it's significance yet.

That impressed me too, that it all seems like a show. Cube gets put there for people to see and speculate and freak out and then gets removed on camera without explanation and bits handed out as souvenirs. If he didn't want anyone to see it, he wouldn't have chucked it on the ground. He would've handed it to someone. IMHO, It was intended to be seen. It was intended to be videoed. It was intended to be posted on YT and for us all to do exactly this.


So are we meant to just wonder if the "plan" has been put in motion? Thwarted? Postponed? In the current climate it adds to the fear, right? Or is the whole thing just for controversy? I'm leaning towards it just being "art." Doom porn art? It gets people talking and speculating and analysing. It's back on topic. Perhaps the artist wants us to keep it in mind while we wait to see if Ebola wipes out Africa or if we nuke each other or whatever. It takes on more meaning right now. So maybe this latest little episode is performance art.

That was last year though and this has just happened now. I assume the recovered piece was returned to the site? Is it the same one that has now just been removed by the caretaker? I'm confused. Going to look at old videos to see what used to be there. I understood it that the 2014 cube was a recent addition.

I read that the cameras are not operational. Posted on another thread here about the GG.

I think this is another case of "we're not going to know the truth".

Syn, in 2009, the English stone was etched in the upper right-hand corner and the stone was removed. There is a picture in this thread.

In the video, someone in the audience asks if something else is going in its place. The caretaker says "We have the original piece." So yeah, this cube isn't it. If they had the original piece (recovered in 2013 from theft 4 years ago, as per article dreaming awake quoted) why wasn't that put there then? Why was this one put there and now removed?

On reflection, I think another poster in this thread is correct. I think the "MM" stands for Master Mason. I think that "JAM" are his initials. I believe he made the block.

I don't know about the numbers. As the block was placed with 20 14 facing out I believe they represent this year. It is possible something significant occurred on August 16th of this year. I'm going to pursue that date and I'll post what I come up with.

MM.. Could it stand for Memento Mori? Skull and crossbones symbol?

I searched news for August 16th but couldn't find anything.
