Embed Issues! Please Help!

I can't seem to find a reliable GIF source or a successful way of embedding said GIF.

How am I supposed to be able to fully express myself without the use of GIFs?

I don't think gifs are allowed on here. I may be wrong but I remember reading a rule a while back stating no GIFS. It may just be for avatars but I'm not 100% sure.

You have to save a gif, and upload it to your ATS media centre.

After saving the gif, click on the down arrow (up the top), and then click on 'upload'.

When the page loads, click on the 'upload' button, and proceed to click on 'select files'.

Choose your gif, and then hit the cloud button.

Afterwards, to embed. You click on the gif, and copy the link under the title 'BBcode for use in post', and post it in a reply or thread.

Fairly sure it's just for avatars.

You can do gifs, same as you do pics.

Avatars are okay. It's the profile background that cannot be animated.

It could also be the size of the gif that is the problem. I think above 500kb and it won't load.

DAAS has the right way to do it, if the gif is too big it should come up with an error message when you upload.

I believe there is a person or persons here that create some pretty spectacular...or "FABULOUS" avatars.
A quick search will find the thread for said avatar creation.
Me, I prefer plain jane.

Ugh, so I was using the search feature trying to figure out how to embed YouTube vids directly into a post, & after 4 threads of nothing, I accidentally click on one of my own very first threads lol.

HOW DO I PUT A YOUTUBE VIDEO DIRECTLY INTO A THREAD!

& maybe bumping this will help some others with embedding issues of all nature.
