0.8% of American girls claim virgin births, study shows!

Im not good with stats, but I think 100% of these girls are lying. lol

Yeah don't even hint at the most famous story in the history of the world involving a virgin birth in a thread about virgin births on the Origins and Creationism forums......as apparently that's off topic (despite 'messiah', 'immaculate conception' and people being stoned to death being mentioned on the very first page...)

The Bible didn't say that virgin births can be done at will. In fact, I think they are pretty clear about marriage and that you need two people to reproduce. It's not out of the realm of possibility, however, that Mary had some kind of mutations that made her unique situation possible. In fact, a lot of people probably have unique mutations going on all the time, but they are mostly harmful and never get passed on, and the rare one that gets the beneficial mutation, doesn't have enough kids for it to spread.
