Sorry but radar reflects radio waves.

Not light waves.

The human eye can not pick up 'infrared'.

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

It can now be revealed - vantablack is the first step in the production of Portable Hole.

Often portrayed by the Illuminati in Looney Tunes, the Portable Hole is REAL. There is a variant called Liquid Hole.

Right now, more than all of us in this thread put together can afford.

I'm hoping eventually they'll find a way of mass-producing this stuff at an affordable level. I'd love to have a sample of it.

"Liquid hole," you say ??

There is a variation on Vantablack that also comes in a spray can: World's Blackest Material Now Comes in a Spray Can.

It has the cool name: Vantablack S-VIS.

Now we need Vanna White to hold a can! "Vanna... Vanta. Vanta... Vanna" (thank you Mr. Letterman for the antics!)

U.K.-based Surrey Nanosystems has announced that it has improved on the original Vertically Aligned Nanotube Array BLACK (Vantablack coating) which the company claimed to be the blackest material ever made. The original Vantablack was found to absorb 99.96 percent of visible (and ultraviolet and infrared) light—the new Vantablack is darker—so much so that it cannot be measured by a spectrometer.

Phys.org, April 11, 2017 - New version of Vantablack coating even blacker than original.

How's that! Some improvement where there is very little room for improvement.

I want to wear a Vanta Black ninja suit.
And then sneak into a store and steal a bottle of Fanta.
I'll leave a buck on the counter.

Why not change to Faygo? You could be a Juggalo.

Apparently British artist, Anish Kapoor, bought sole rights to this to use in his paintings.... although, if there is a newer Vantablack, maybe he doesn't own those rights.

I wonder how it would work for tattoos.
I want to tattoo my face Vanta Black.
Then I just look like eyes and teeth floating in the air.
Would that be perceived as racially insensitive?
