I think a tent city like detention facility would be a lot cheaper and maybe after the criminals stay there for a bit they will pass the word to their countrymen that it's not worth the trip.

I agree. If you keep welcoming people in with open arms, hot meals, shelter, and transportation....why would they ever stop coming? Like it or not, if we don't start turning people around, where are we gonna migrate to when our country isn't up to our liking anymore? Who is going to give US handouts? The United States is about to get a reality check much like a college kid who got a small inheritance and blew it on parties and women. When the money is gone all your friends will go with it.

What military genius defends the South Korean border harder than his own border? 28,000 troops we got in south korea. They are ALL getting paid. 3.7 billion dollars for what? ALL the money we have spent building up South Korea and they can't fight their own battles yet? The fact that they are asking for more money is criminal fraud by all definitions.

eh i think the 3.7 billion is a stunt,he knows it wont pass the house but with elections coming up when it does not get passed he can yammer on and on about how those nasty racist republicans didnt pass his spending bill to help the children.its a ploy to try to swing the November elections as they know they are in for a fight

Upon further pondering this is the same conclusion that I came to. It only makes sense that there would be ties between the two groups for Drug money. The Cartels use it to fund their activities and the M.E. terrorists use it to fund their activities....BTW, Isn't Argentina friendly with Iran?

building more detention centers, adding immigration judges, and beefing up border patrols and air surveillance.

Your all working out the cost per head of this one instance of border crossings like you have a freaking clue what your talking about.

52000 kids with no adults.

I was going to give a history of my involvement in trying to stem the tide (Texas, DHS company related 2007), but it would get long and probably off topic. The way I look at this however, at this point anyway is, they got into the US under probably dirty brutal circumstances. They got here probably unsupervised, nobody held their hands and they're older now than when they came into the US. Sending them back unsupervised on a plane, train or bus would seem like a first class vacation.

The US government has to stop pussy-footing around and man-up, the demowimp POTUS just ain't cuttin' it these days (any days for that matter).

I don't know how the air up "there" is on "Planet Clair", but here in Texas we are looking at the realities of many thousands of refugees/aliens flooding our state. Baby aliens at that.

I love kids, puppies, unicorns etc...but reality is how are we going to pay for this? Not to mention the fallout resulting from the years long humanitarian issues that will be ongoing to infinity.

We need a PRESIDENT not a Prom King to take names and kick some a##!
