Acting like a bunch of nazis they are.

Trying to burn books.

Really? You equated this article about a chain that considers book selling as *maybe* 1% of their total sales deciding not to carry a book with this:

Dude, from one conservative SOB to another, that's the type of exaggeration that makes us look like a collective of crackpot asses to the masses.

Agreed. Costco is within their rights.

It's just the hypocrisy of the Regressives on such issues as censorship that is soooo cheeky, brazen, stupid and otherwise outrageous.

And a lot of Regressives I've talked to over the years simply don't seem to have synapses sufficiently flexible to even conceive that THEY ARE HYPOCRITICAL on such mattes. That's been particularly true of sociology profs. It's like brain fade. They don't seem to have any capacity to see their own absurd and contradictory positions and actions.

They'll scream all day long with placards waving against censorship over every fool socially destructive piece of violent and pornographic trash they can dredge up to get hot flashes over.

And turn right around the next day and create just as big a fuss DEMANDING that some Christian or other oppositional-to-their-perspective book be withheld from a library or school or bookstore. What duplicitous, phoney idiots.

At least D'Souza sold more books than CLinton has.

I haven't read that my side is saying he can't do it.

We just assert that he's a brazenly thuggish hypocrite about such things.

He seems incapable of seeing reality except through the rosey colored glasses of blood stained globalism/ communism/ statism etc.

If Hobby Lobby was a book store, I could imagine that they would, on principle ban some outrageously destructive books. But it would at least be a well founded principle based on facts . . . compared to the Costco's Destroyer-in-Chief suck-up position.

1. CostCo's not a book store. Hobby Lobby probably carries as many books as a CostCo does. Your argument is lacking.
2. Calm-O Down-O.

Sigh.

Writing books is D'Souza's main job so he should have sold more books than Clinton if not then he needs a new job.

It's his company, he can sell what he wants.

Usually republicans are saying companies can do whatever they want, what hypocrites.

Really I wonder why that excuse doesn't seem to work for Hobby Lobby ?

Because he isn't crying I'm doing it because my religion says so. Also did Costco promise the book as part of their employee literary plan?

I disagree.

Because their religion is the church of the current potus.

As to them evil people at Hobby Lobby ?

Damn then all to hell for not providing 4 out of the 20 contraception means their employees have access to!!!!

For EFFS sake.

Care to point out where the ' liberal' part is in banning books ?

Hint here is the definition of the word:

5 : broad-minded; especially : not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or traditional forms

Really Bo? A political ethos "Mine's bigger! *swing, swing, swing*" contest? I don't care about the Great 2014 Shrill Side Debate, what matters is who's standing on solid ground. The folks lambasting CostCo here are sinking up to their ass in muck. Bottom line.

I hereby demand that Costco carry every writer's books. Equal opportunity book/furniture/marble countertop seller.

Leave no item off the shelf, including Gummy Bears and Sailor Moon pillow covers..

What are conservatives really saying about it?

Seems to me our "lambasting" is enormously muffled compared to the screams of the regressives at the least bit of fantasy about censorship of their perspective in the public square.

imho, we're merely pointing out the double standard on the part of the regressives, globalists et al.

FREE SPEECH.

en.wikipedia.org...

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

FREQUENTLY INCORRECT EMBRACEMENT OF THE FIRST.

Show me evidence that this decision by CostCo's CEO was dictated by a lawmaker, please. Oh I do so hope you've got something showing that and aren't falling into the all-too-often encountered trap of those who try to apply free speech to private matters.

I'm with you on this; let the market decide. There's lots of bookstores that don't carry certain authors or types of books; a smart person either just goes to another bookstore, or orders it online.

There's some theaters that aren't showing the film, and they have their reasons. I don't agree with Google messing up showtimes, etc., but I've had that happen online with other movies, too.
