LOL I was testing out a new Avatar--- an animated gif image.

Worked fine in IE Firefox and chrome but you know something's you just have to post them on the web to see if they really work the way you hope it will.

got to fooling around with a program called EZ gif maker.
it's really limited in what it can do, but I messed around with it for a while.
and finally got something I liked

It's just 2 small images and a little text effect.
nothing to it really.

the guys who really know how to do this stuff would have done something amazing!
but I was looking to tiny file size so I'm happy.

To make it up to you...

This morning my dog, chased my wife's cat into the bathroom where I was taking a shower.
that damn cat, claws fully extended ran right up my legs and chest to my shoulder where she does this rather painful leap over the dumb dog and back out to the living room.

The only thing I can say about that is

I got my hands on a trial version.
when you open the program a wizard walks you through the set up.
Now I did have to resize some stock images I had lying around and made a lot of mistakes at first--- making me have to start over.
but by and large it took like a hour and half of not really knowing what I was doing to come up with my new avatar.
just play with it--- it was easy enough to learn and that says a lot coming from me---need the wife and kids to program my phone.

Alright .. I went and tried that site out. I couldn't do it. I'm not techy. So I found another site and made an avatar picture of what I look like (sorta). But now I can't figure out where I made the picture ... which site it was. Ha!! It's one of those days.

That's supposed to be me ...
