Haha!

Glad you made it safely there and back! Must have been a dicey journey if you had both feet down the entire journey though!

Indeed it was True......................back in the day nothing could stop me riding, I was young and stupid. I once came home from the BMF rally in driving rain. When I reached home I was so cold I had to just lean the bike and myself against the wall until I could move again.

Wouldn't change a thing

Cody, go shopping in your onesie. You will fit right in!

Hi all the sheddites. Hope you are all having a fantastic weekend. I am - I have discovered a choc-mint flavoured diet yoghurt that, when frozen, tastes exactly like choc mint ice cream and it DOESN'T MAKE ME FAT!!!

Cooler weather here too my friends. Leaves are starting to turn vivid hues of yellow, orange and red.

Time to change my summer floral arrangements to my Autumn ones today.

That is a lovely picture Night. It seems so peaceful. I am holding on to summer as long as I can, even though summer doesn't seem to want to hang around

If you're weird so am I. And I don't want to fit in, it goes against the grain. I have no idea where this came from but it's stuck in my memory from somewhere...................I know it's the sand dance............ but I have no idea why I know

Night Star and Gordi - just popping in to say how much I enjoyed your stories!

My RL is crazy right now, and will be for a while. I am enjoying a bit more time online but can see it will be limited again in the near future. My child with severe autism is home after being gone to a special school/group home for two years. I'm homeschooling my other child, and I'm working part time at my choir gig. In addition, my hubby is touring in a foreign country for six weeks, so I'm on my own here, holding down the fort. I hope you will send good thoughts my way.

peace,
AB

Foss did you see this thread???? Awesome!!!

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Yeah, I did see it - and I'll be adding a photo of my own modest collection to it
(or, I may wait till October, as the next local rock & mineral show is coming).

Been a tad bit busy though, as another one of my friends went off the radar - only difference with this one is that this is someone that literally would never just not call her parents (it's against her very nature), and something about this screams "not right". None of my online searches have brought anything up either (so if anyone from Pennsylvania or Michigan is reading this, send me a PM, as I'll have a specific request for you).

And, not to be creepy, but I tracked down my other "missing" friend's exact address; only problem is that it's mapped to a house, and there might be another guy there with her. I'm a little scared as to how much information I was able to get, all with a free search.

And burr, it's a little bit chilly, right now - I smell fall on the air.

We're having that weird in-between weather where one day it's hot then it's cold then it's hot...LOL Though I am looking forward to Fall, I will regret not being able to have open windows anymore.

Hi Honey! Good to hear from you! How did the school/group home work out for your autistic child? Glad to see you are home schooling your other child. Looks like you have your hands full! Thoughts and well wishes being sent your way! HUGS!

LOL! As much as I appreciate fresh air and all, I don't like the cold. Better than the heat and humidity of summer though. Sometimes in the Fall when it is just too cold, I'll have the heat on and also a window open a bit. But once winter comes and it stays cold then the windows stay closed.

Lol the gremlins are in my computer! I just wrote you all a greeting and then had a little rant and the gremlins ensured that all that typing was a wasted few minutes of my life, so I am going to keep this one short and sweet.

Happy Sunday everyone. Foss, I hope your friends are okay and their situations are resolved in a positive way soon.

Aww thanks AB!
Lovely to see you again.
Don't let that RL stuff take over completely!!
We all deserve a little ATS "get away" time now and then, and there will always be a coffee and a hug waiting in the Shed for you when you need it most!
