The OP is no longer with us, she passed last year but we all continue to read and add to the thread that she oversaw so diligently. which is outside of Kingsport. I am an abductee & contactee
since I was a kid with experiences there, Asheville, CA & VA

A few friends and I were looking for a place to camp or a hotel for a couple of days in N.C. Is there camping available in the particular area of Brown Mountain you were in? I'd like to go the 1st week of June but only after I ck and see if my states handgun permit is allowed in NC as well as the states I'd travel though to get there.

I'll be watching your movie tonight and report back with my opinion. 7 bucks isn't bad to see a movie so I'll watch.

There is actually lots of common things/symptoms, that happen just before our soul/energy separates from the physical body that have been discussed here on ATS, afterwards the interesting stories vary.

Awesome, try the Pisgah national forrest, thats were wisemans overlook is and there are plenty of campsites throughout the area.

Thank you for the suggestion. I'm in Tennessee and it would be around 8hrs to drive but may go for it anyway. We'll take many different camera's along.

It was Jacques Vallee 1969 in Passport to Magonia that suggested the modern UFO phenomena was the old Faeries of folklore revisited, it's a good read if you're not familiar with the case he made.

From my own personal perspective when approached by a bright glowing red orb my instinctive reaction was to think Faerie, intelligent and curious, from the perspective of my cultural background, and when i have met them in dream they are as curious of me as i am of them, they say our worlds our inter-twined and what threatens ours also threatens theirs, but that the ways of Light and the ways of Darkness are all the same to them and they'll be reluctant to come down on the side of one against the other, they act as individuals within a collective consciousness, but even though they're generally harmless i'm not sure i'd believe a word of it because they're Faeries

I saw your movie a couple weeks ago. It's one of the best found footage films I've seen.

I loved the idea of the abandoned cars in the mountain tunnel, very creepy and claustrophobic.

I also liked the idea used to justify the reason the recordings were made in the first place - a camera as a comfort item for an autistic kid.

There are so many things included in this movie that serve to make it an original, even in a time when we are being super-saturated with found footage films. One of my favorite f/x in the movie is when the redneck mountain man is caught up in the tractor beam and the graphic way in which his body was crushed.

I recommend everyone having a look at the movie, even if you're not particularly a fan of sci-fi/alien films or found footage films.

Hello mr Beckerman,

Linda Moulton Howe said in an interview that she was allowed to read some classified US army documents in which was writen that an alien race is observing the Earth for at least 270 million years. The alien race had been tinkering with the human race ever since and that the project on humans had ended. Maybe noteworthy to say that Linda Moulton Howe was not allowed to make copies or notes while reading these documents.

What do you think of this whole situation? I do not doubt that Linda did what she said she did. But what intension could the army have to let her read these documents? How could this fit into the opinion that there are several other extraterrestrial species visiting the Earth?

I know there is not much info to go on but I am very interested what your thoughts are about this odd situation with the army.

Blue Ridge parkway I always viewed it as a big trap. Almost like an animal trap where you block one side of an area off, you get the animal to go into it, then you block the other side off. Wow Matty you seem to be steeped in N.C. tales.
I was poking a little fun on the other post.
On a more serious note I was raised very close to Bryson City .
On the back side in a small spot know as Topton just out of the
Nantahala gorge.

So my question is what strange things have happened in and around the Nantahala gorge.

I have seen some weird things in those Mnts.

Also have you ever herd tail of thunder bird sighting in that part of N.C.

I know for a fact that the Sasquatch call those parts home.

Any stories or tales would be great and thank you for giving us the opportunity
to speak with you.

Just wanted to say i watched your film last week and loved it, one of the best i've seen in a long time. i have seen 3 U.F.O's last october in broad daylight, they jumped, appeared, disappeared, hovered and moved at a speed like something out of a film. i had a strange dream couple of months ago, it was really lucid, i really couldn't tell you if it was real or not, i was laying on something, half asleep half awake kind of thing and was aware of beings walking around me, they were small, no bigger than 3ft, grey with large black eyes and all they said was "we can't let ourselves come here and be seen, they will kill us" and that was that, but it was really real.

this is the best AMA, better than any others, with most AMA the answers are like trying to get blood out of a stone!
