Atheists are legally removing god from our schools, public displays and courthouse buildings. Supposely they don't believe in higher being yet they seemed threatened by the word God. Atheist must believe in something, money, power, food? I would say love but that might be related to God, might be confusing just like the word God. This country was founded with God, it's all over our country's most important documents. Why is this minority trying to take away what made this, the greatest country? How many children with Atheist parents find faith in God? Is it terrible to have the word God in a powerful speech in the morning to remind everyone we live in a great and free country?

I love to go to baseball, hockey or football games and be humbled by our red, white and blue as everyone repeats under God.

Atheist continue to push that they believe in nothing but are fighting to remove God from our schools, buildings and children.

That is why I believe Atheist are actually Satanists, for a group who have no beliefs they are spending big money to remove God.

God is Satans greatest enemy as the Atheists.

The U.S. will always be under God, it's just American!

Anything else is just communism.

I served in the military and I would die for my country and its founding fathers beliefs.

Amen

I SnF'd you because, after all, this is a conspiracy site!

What an interesting and refreshing premise.

I don't think I have seen this speculation before.

Looking forward to the replies.

Keep it nice people, this should be interesting!

You make a good point. Why are they so repulsed by the idea of God if they don't believe in God? You would think that the idea would be as harmless as say, a chair, if God were so nebulous to them.

And on the other hand I've known of Satanists who claim to be Atheists. I really don't understand how you can believe in Satan, if you don't believe in the spirit realm. Or perhaps my understanding on that is lacking. I just don't know.

This is the political forum ... religious and personal opinion isn't going to cut it much in here ok!

Got any credible sources with links that show Atheists are indeed Satanists OR are you just poisoning the ATS political well?

what a typical black and white view.
the thing is athiests don't see things in black and white, or god and satan.

i don't care what you believe, but don't teach it to my kids, and don't expect to make laws apply to everyone based on it.

thats only fair.

i don't believe in god, I don't believe in satan.

I agree 100%...

Militant Atheism is nothing more than another well-financed Illuminati mind control Religion with a stealth agenda.

Illuminati worship satan while claiming he doesn't even exist.

I think it's well placed because the atheists are consistently making this a political issue.

Well the under god part was added in 1954..

Anything else is just communism.

Not really, there are many gods who the USA could be under or no god. It can still be a democracy (or republic, or whatever).

First of all, the idea of 'god' isn't harmless; it has killed millions of people and will continue to do so in the future.

Second of all, you can be a satanist without believing in god. Being an atheist is rejecting the idea of gods.

Sorry if I come up as offensive but you should really educate yourself.

Nah, I mean speaking from personal experience, I've been a Christian, an agnostic and an Atheist and now I'm basically a Deist, beliving in God but not in any organized religion, especially the Abrahamic religions.

So having said that, when I went thru my phase of not believing in any God and basically believing that there was no God...I was a firm Atheist, not once did I worship Satan. Not one single time. No horns on the head, no pentagrams, no scrawling 666 on anything or sacrificing goats...nope not once.

So, I think I just sunk your theory or at least showed you that there are exceptions. yes?

Your post actually scares me.

I fear that anything other than your Christian ideology would be satanism. It's this kind of tunnel vision that was used to justify the crusades.

Your comment about communism and god also baffles me.. What does this have to do with the socio economic structure of America? I find this ironic in light of the ideals of socialism/communism.

Because of my position I must be a satanist

OH my, what a pile of stuff you've waded into.

Let's start with this shall we:

Atheists are legally removing god from our schools, public displays and courthouse buildings.

Let's be honest, if we were following that little document known as the constitution, what Christians did by invoking God, in our schools, and courthouses and public displays was illegal to begin with.

Atheist must believe in something, money, power, food? I would say love but that might be related to God, might be confusing just like the word God.

We believe in ourselves, the human race and a variety of other things. I fail to see how not having faith makes you confused or otherwise less than, but ok.

Is it terrible to have the word God in a powerful speech in the morning to remind everyone we live in a great and free country?

What does God have to do with freedom? God was the largest source of opposition to freedom, for a very long time. Technically speaking, if you follow all the tenants, it's still not freedom it's subversion.

So let's not pretend that having a nation under God means your free, unless the free part is;

" Free to pray to God"

Cause that's about as much freedom as you get.

The U.S. will always be under God, it's just American!

Nope, Christians created this perverse, historically revised vision of how the US was founded, when it fact, most of it's founding fathers were very critical of religion, some of which people claim were atheists as well.

I served in the military and I would die for my country and its founding fathers beliefs.

Than you have to believe that the church is not welcome in politics, school or law, as the founding fathers did.

You believe Atheists are Satanists because your religion compels you to.

I believe religion is bad for schools, politics, medicine etc, because I've studied it and it's been proven to be a means to shut doors to understanding, not open them.

Edit To Add; Being an atheist myself, I have to laugh at the idea that we're just hiding our love for Satan with displays of contempt towards God.

Did you know that Atheists also don't believe in Bhudism or Scientology or any of the other mystical type religions that exist?

We don't discriminate, we are equal opportunity Atheists.

At least I am.

Perhaps the very belief systems that this world operates from is beginning to falter simply because everyone has an opinion. you, myself and that kid next door operate from an individual train of thought. Perhaps each individual anger and indifference is what causes downfall. Atheist fighting Christians is what they want, Muslims fighting Jews is what they want. As soon as we get together, they don't run a damn thing.

Not such a bad opposition though, very insightful.

A family in New Jersey is suing a school district because they say the words "Under God" violates the state constitution.

This is why I think it's political, so please give me a break.

Thanks

First of all you don't have to believe in God to be violent. I think that an atheist is very capable of being violent without having to believe in God. Second, if you believe in Satan, that is your God. I think that you should educate yourself. Lol.

Why would a Satanist need a "cover"?

And if you haven't noticed, Satanists are actively trying to get their own religious beliefs injected into society just like Christians are. Atheists do just the opposite. They are against theistic Satanism as well as Christianity. They are the same pantheon of gods... which they equally don't believe.

I am an atheist. That basically means that I am "without theism" aka "without religion". Satanism is a religion. As an atheist, I am without religion. Ergo, I am not a Satanist.

Get it?

What do I believe in? I believe that people can be very good if they truly have it in their hearts to be. I don't think one needs a god looming over them to engage in those things because doing the right thing just feels right. Gives a nice buoyant feeling to the heart. I believe that the world and the universe are amazingly complex and wondrous things all on their own without any other additional flare or magic. I would die to protect the people in this country as well. I'm also not a Communist. I was sent to the USSR back in the 80's by my ret. colonel grandfather. What I saw was terrible. Huge lines for toilet paper and many had been out of it for weeks by the time I arrived. Wouldn't want that for my country. Freaking logistical nightmare.

Yup.... Educate yourself, as said by the above poster.

I'm atheist and I don't connect with God or satan. Sorry bout that.

Simple really. As for agenda... No religion is right but all contain kernels of psychological truth... But none should never be picked over another as a state religion, thus separation of church and state... It's too personal.

You're lack of informed knowledge and/or comprehension of who and what "atheists" are... is showing loud and clear.

Not to mention the logical fallacy of lumping an entire group of peoples into the same imaginary pigeon hole.

So what's it like living under a rock in the 21st century, anyways ?

Inquiring minds want to know.
