I believe the UFO phenomenon ties in directly with the trans-humanist movement. The situation created by the watchers has necessitated a gradual evolution of technology to aid in the transition of souls from this plane. They aren't seeking to create a super intelligence or even AI, the goal is to link each mind together as one using technology. We would cease to be individual beings but truly join the Borg as it were, erasing the bounds of you-me-them-us. In fact, there is no "we". All would become simply "I". The internet is the first tool in beginning this process of collectivization. Socialism was the political form, crude though it may have been but effective in terms of enforcing patterns of behavior and thought - important to those wishing to destroy individuality.

This is where religion enters the scene as rebellion against the plan of the watchers. All religions seek to raise the individual consciousness to join with God. This is why the NWO seeks to destroy all religion and is working at this very moment to set the world's major religions into bloody conflict with one another. It is because they are controlled by the watchers, Nephilim, ETs, whatever you wish to call them that they have set this goal, creating the preconditions necessary for final triumph of transhumanism.

Those are excellent observations, and I think true. But it's not just joining our minds. There is another voice in that mix, I believe, and manipulative forces involved within that joining. As Corsair wisely pointed out earlier, it's never one way or another but a little bit of both, and even maybe something else you haven't thought of yet, either.

Wish Corsair would return, from his hiatus from ATS, apparently. Miss his wisdom.

Hiya GUT! Long time no see my friend.
I happened across this thread and felt compelled to spill my um, guts.
Years ago I couldn't read enough about ancient history, UFOs. religion, paranormal, philosophy etc.
Eventually it dawned on me that it would lead nowhere. A new approach was needed.
That's when I took up Zen philosophy (non-philosophy) as I now truly believe the only way forward is not through logic, that is a trap that leads one in circles. Only the empty container can be filled.
To many it will sound like a cop-out and perhaps it is but it's the way I have chosen for myself.
To the beginner's mind all things are possible.

Oh yeah, I forgot about this one. This was largely from the Fastwalker novel and CE3. Seems more and more fitting these days...

I think you had already gone for an extended ATS break by this time and I largely let it go where it would. I have myself taken an extended break from ATS, so I might have some catching up to do. Nowadays I mostly try to keep up with Breaking Alternative News and a few others. I guess I will still always love the UFO topic, but it can get pretty messy at times.

Hello also to tetra50 and Asktheanimals! I am fascinated by the proposition that the soul's evolution to another plane is what is involved in with this phenomenon. Abductees always seem to state that an energy body that can move through walls is what has been taken by the mysterious beings. I have heard a variety of references ranging from people like Whitley Strieber to John Alexander to Dennis McKenna that state that the spirit body, the afterlife and UFOs are intimately connected. I have also heard that the physical human body cannot survive outside friendly space, so either programmed life forms like robots would be used, something like Avatar which could carry our consciousness inside, or our astral bodies themselves.

It's also worth noting that throughout history there have always been sudden and dramatic evolutionary spikes where entirely new mutations to old species pop up globally all at once. And since our entire planet seems to be rather upset by industrial modern homo sapiens' presence, and our technology is linking everything up in a completely unprecedented way concomitant to this overpopulation and global crises of every sort, it is reasonable to assume that a new jump from homo sapiens to something entirely different (something that can exist in another dimension or entirely as 0s and 1s like a virtual reality) is being born.

Thanks for the welcome and glad to see you checking in. Great article, seems to be right in line Masaru Emoto's work on programming water through frequency and vibration. The ancients knew what they were doing, shamanism is the remnant of their treatment that utilizes vibration in many forms - chants and drumming along with color therapy, aromatherapy, herbalism and soul journeying.

As an artist I had many opportunities to study ancient symbols and motifs. The act of recreating them connects one with those who had created them long ago. The original inspiration for their making was usually of spiritual origin which in turn was their response to what we call UFO/Extraterrestrial phenomenon today.

These civilizations often took giant leaps in technology and mathematics, seemingly from nowhere as historians often describe it. It makes far more sense both logically and intuitively that they gained these things from external sources. Their megaliths and vast ruins are mute testimony to "the gifts of the Gods". This is stated in their mythologies in a very matter-of-fact way. What's interesting is that now modern science has arrived at an understanding that isn't in conflict with what was considered up until recently, nonsense and fairy tales.

So who or what then were these beings and what was their purpose in interacting with mankind? Most of the old myths tell of these ascended masters leaving with a promise to one day return. Are witnessing the return of the elder Gods or at least a revealing of those who have been here all along? This is the part I find truly exciting because I'm sure we're in for some big surprises. Pleasant or not there will be a certain satisfaction in knowing one way or the other.

The Inhibitors from Alastair Reynolds' Revelation Space series are self-replicating machines whose purpose is to inhibit the development of intelligent star-faring cultures. They are dormant for extreme periods of time until they detect the presence of a space-faring culture and proceed to exterminate it even to the point of sterilizing entire planets. They are very difficult to destroy as they seem to have faced any type of weapon ever devised and only need a short time to 'remember' the necessary counter-measures.

Wonder if there might be some chosen ones(human in all respects) that don't even fully realize they have been chosen for adoption by these beings. They are generally the ones that don't fit any type of cultural mold and most of society considers (strange weird interesting irresponsible,unproductive, awkward) in the mainstream sense of the words from the majority of the populace.

Sort of like those 2 characters in Close Encounters of the Third Kind who are somehow drawn to the UFO contact/touchdown? Yes, it seems to be a general archetype that pervades a lot of UFO lore. My friend Jonathan Zap, who is huge into sci-fi archetypes and Carl Jung, wrote a fantasy novel called 'Parallel Journeys' that discusses the concept of "mutants" or "protoelves" and a split from humanity, as well as split timestreams and a wide variety of other topics like the ghosts of suicides trapped in a dark realm of thought loops. The mutants or protoelves are usually of a higher consciousness, however, and for a lot of weird people in this world, it can be a little tricky to make it to that point - regardless of how much they had hoped for it for many years! Roadblocks - obstacles, as it were. The shamanic apprenticeship that was delayed and/or aborted before the process reached its conclusion of successful individuation. Are such people prepared for any future contact type of scenario, or will they get one heck of a fast defrag and crash course on navigating hyperspace that might be a bit jarring?

He is working on getting it published right now. I helped give him feedback during his writing process. He is not a trained fictional author. He is more of a New Age psychologist, really into synchronicity and archetypes, but he wanted to write a story that would contain metaphors that highlighted his concept of "the singularity archetype". Apparently the editing process is a slow-go and lots has to be re-written. He has lots of interesting articles and podcasts and some of his story posted on Zap Oracle .
