A little girl I know

You have me crying right now and not just a few tears, this is unreal I experienced this same thing twenty plus years ago and it still sticks with me like crazy memory glue.

I was in an out of town Hospital diagnosed with CardioMyopothy with an enlarged heart and weak muscle.
So the night before my surgery I am walking the halls trying to relax knowing this is my last time out of bed for a week or better.

As everyone knows here it is impossible to walk a hospital hallway and not look left and right into open doorways and lots of times you regret doing that the second you do.

I was a bit mopey about my situation and wondering what life had in store for me at the age of 33 years well I got my answer as I slowly made my way down the hallway and looked in a room as I went.

There I saw a little child no more that three years old with mom and dad just hugging their baby boy/girl.
There were more tubes involved than I could possibly count, what go me was the child was laughing and the parents were laughing.

This was in the pre op cardiac ward and it straightened my poor attitude of self pity right out.
I was looking at Teagan Lenea at the time I just didn't know it.

God bless her little soul.

You sure can put a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes, what a lovely little girl. Sending the white light of protection her way, may it envelop her and hold her safe (now and in the future).

Two sticks of incense are burning, Iwinder chose sandalwood and I picked fig. What a nice scent they have made together. How anyone can be so happy under those circumstances. If you only look at her face and leave the body out of the picture it could have been taken anywhere, a birthday party or picnic. You would never know by looking at her face what kind of ordeal she has endured.

Once again I am humbled, can't imagine such a sweet little thing going through that much pain.

I'll be up loading some more pics soon.
And she's just over joyed everytime her uncle walks in the room.
But she won't even look at Dad lol. The Doctors say it's because
he had the dirty deed of bringing her to the hospital and leaving
her there. So he got all but hurt I guess. And the nurses told him
it will pass in a couple days. Of course all I could do is laugh and make
jokes about that. lol

But to see this ultimate nail biter turn out like this, despite what
any future holds? Has in it self been a tremendous thing to see.
I count myself lucky to know Teagan and hope to see her soon.

been rendered. You have my word on that. I have made arrangements
to have Teagan enter our dwelling via her uncle ( our son-in-law ).

She comes home today and Teagans mom will hopefully send her with
them if it isn't to early. We'll see, but I will remember to honor your
request. How neat you are so adamant. I think that's memorable
indeed.
