Yay !!! I got one.

Ok, This item is a thing that caused me to play the "what is it?" game with myself. It seemed to appear out of nowhere one day, on my lap, and it took quite a while before I could figure out where it came from.

Is that a cluster of hydrogel beads? I think they are used in planter soils for moisture retention.

It's not a raspberry but I also thought it might be when I first spotted it.

It is indeed a green thing but I think I'm going to have a be a bit of a stickler on this one and wait to see if anyone can recognize specifically what this.

This is the thought that really freaked me out when I first saw it.

It's not a cluster of hydro gel beads, in fact it's all one piece. It is however one part of a two piece item. It is also not edible.

DO you perhaps have an aquarium and it is a fish egg?

It's not an egg of any kind, thank goodness.

It could be a kind of sticky styrofoam.

Is it jewelry?

Like a 'spacer' bead-ball for a "Pandora's" bracelet?

Is it..... a child's sticky toy that you throw on the wall and it slowly rolls down?

Those are your fingers *winner, woo hoo!*. Why are they holding the inside of a golf ball?

Great guesses everyone. The warmest so far is Jacy's guess - although it's not a bead it does have a small hole on one side.

It's not jewelry but it is meant to be worn or displayed. "Remember", this is a part of a two piece thing.

It's not sticky or soft. It is not used for fishing.
