The 1% used to be millionaires,

but it wasn't enough now they are billionaires.

it still isn't enough for the self-proclaimed 'Masters of the Universe'

They want to be trillionaires.

As medical science advances and we learn that ageing and dying are actually unnecessary,
we will eventually have the tecnology to conquer death.
Of course this will not be for the masses but for the 1%.

Do we really wait until we are controlled by a 1% who are nearly immortal and super rich ?

Or do we kill them all now.

I believe we have been here before the Elite who proclaim themselves Gods and the masses who are dirt poor.

My view is that we kill them all now.

Before it gets messy.

Of course the 99% have all got to agree on this, which sadly they won't, we are too many voices and too disorganised to
effectively start a rebellion or revolution.

There must be scripture to aid in determining when the accumulation of wealth becomes obscene or even sinful. Maybe it relates to the stockpiling of grain to last through 7 years of draught and famine. Pure capitalism which shuns the notion of sharing with the less fortunate deserving is just not working.

Somewhere in the ideas/opinions expressed on this thread alone is to be found a balanced theory that will solve the "Major" problems of this planet. Could a roadmap be fairly plotted out to accomplish it? Yes. Could a candidate for every political office be found to carry the banner? Yes. Achievable goals to include: Limit and roll back wealth to non-obscene levels. Result: No more 99%/1% dichotomy. Money freedup goes to create jobs, infrastructure, job training for inner city poor, education, health, fair minimum wages & R&D. Back to basic education; term limits;

Guy Mcpherson's been saying this for a while, He's saying 2030 though, so only a decade & a half. He's basically saying it's to late though & too many self reinforcing loops have been triggered.

To say that there are "a few decades left" is being pretty generous, methinks. Things are so volatile, and ever increasingly so, that I'd be shocked if we stuck it out another decade without a collapse. As crazy as it may sound, the downfall of society is the only medicine that will work to ensure any sort of future for the human race. I would say that help from good-willed extraterrestrials may be a wild card, but even "they" couldn't get billions of people to cooperate or change for the better.

It's always darkest before the dawn... and as dark as things have gotten, it helps to remember that there will be relief from nature, even if it's a bitter pill.

At that level Snoopy it is no longer about money but power and they want that power, to be true emperor's but we know they are merely cockroaches infesting the financial establishment and contaminating the economy's of the world with there power hungry blind greed.

I've been working on starting my own nation. It's about all I can do to save the human race. The current governments that rule the world are too busy fighting over resources and space when there is literally an entire galaxy full of resources. I just need more people to make it happen. How is it a man running something like Jonestown can gather followers just to kill them all but when I attempt to get people who are willing to work to save an entire species people only say, "good luck with that." or some other ridiculous comment.

People are always saying how screwed we are but nobody wants to step up and help me fix it. For countless generations problems were passed off as something that future generations would have to fix or deal with. Well I'm trying to deal with it and stop that cycle of thinking.

Is there anyone on this website who is willing to join me in attempting to fix things?

Well what's your plan? I'm game - if it is reasonable, safe, and ethical. For my part it is research but when it comes to dramatic change that only adds to the collection of knowledge (deepens it), and doesn't provide an overall solution.

Right now - in the US we are seeing a generation of strangeness - laziness, lack of problem solving skills, lack of critical thinking period, running off of stimulus/response rather than creative processes, loss of motivation, hope, independence - dependent on everyone else for everything (a huge percentage). I didn't realize how free people were in the past few decades until now. It has changed dramatically and is speeding up at an exponential speed. It is mind boggling and seemingly too late (not hopeless but is moving too quickly now).

I find the just of what NASA is saying either foolish or hypocritical .First the mathematicians and there models ,unless better then the climate models they used that have failed big time to have any predictability value to them .If there is one institute that has needed technology to exist ,it's NASA . You would think that getting the climate models at least better then throwing bones might be a priority for them .

There are things we can do as individuals .One of the first things is to not be distracted and believe what these Government agencies tell us .They get their political marching orders just like the politicians .Start thinking local and shop local instead of where the TV tells us to ....peace

Wow you still think there is no climate change. Wow now who is listening to who. It is not hard to see we are in trouble. The Greenland ice pack is melting so fast they are having trouble measuring it. The same is happening in Antarctica which has never happened before. The melting has been made worse by build up black carbon pollution on the ice.

Almost all the major cities of the world will be under water. This is not crying wolf it is happening. The warming is one hundred percent due ton carbon and pollution. Problem is we could probably not stop it now if we really did want to. China and India have both done more harm in past couple years than the rest of the world.

Listen this really is not rocket science. Listen to those who live in different parts of the world. Where as far back as the stories go the glaciers that provides their life giving water has been there. Now it is gone. If you listen to the actual people and you look at side by side photographs from early explorers that we are lucky to have you see change that man has never seen.

Look at the most recent video evidence with scientists actually standing there doing the research and not setting behind some computer taking money from the Corp world to say what they want.

I just find it alarming how science has become all about the dollar and not much else. Long gone, for the most part, are the scientists who just want to better mankind. Are there really any altruistic scientists left in the world. I don't know anymore.

The point I would like to really get across is man has never been here before in our history. We can run all the computer models in the world but we really don't know what is going to be the consequences of a fifteen foot sea rise. We don't know how big the storms are going to get, if the pressure will change the earth. The possibilities are immense and none are good.

This is a subject many are passionate about. Some evidence you just can't argue with.

Well the sensational vids being recorded of mass amounts of ice breaking off ice shelves is spectacular to be sure but I didn't see anyone collecting that precious water for drinking .The Mayan civilization may have been the result of climate change moving weather systems away from them as some have suggested . The water weathering on the Sphinx in Egypt shows weather patterns that are not there and haven't been for a long time .So the question for me is the AGW meme that does not answer to the climate change that has happened in the past without the input of co2 by man . Co2 is not the driver of warming and it's rise in the past has always followed the warming .

We find sea level rise has happened in the past but it wasn't because of man .We see co2 rise in the past and it wasn't because of man .We have seen cold cycles with warm cycles in the past that was not caused because of man . Why should we logically think that man has anything to do with it now ? Because a bunch of scientist says so ? Because they developed computer models tell us so ? Some of the scientist have been found out to be nothing more then Charlestons who fudge the numbers and hide it .Groups of people working in secret writing their own exoneration's from questionable procedures to get the results they wanted to .

If they were telling the truth they would have no need to lie and deceive .That fact takes away any credibility the the AGW meme .....peace

But personally money needs to be in safe hands, for the majority of the monetary system it is!!!
Minus a few bankers & oil barons... I suppose corporations as well, but then again it's us who fund them (re: eat what we want) unlike the Bankers & Barons!!!
