I wouldn't mind the state or coastal states breaking off separate from continental US!

But some acres of the land staying above sea level would be nice...

Kind of scared to go to bed, hope that's it. Was a pretty good shake, we don't usually feel the ones in that are in crescent City.

Hmm, it did just update. I was checking the quakes a half hour ago after I posted the Mexican quake downgraded to 5.8 now.

No tsunami threat.

TSUNAMI.GOV
6.9 mag, only 7 km deep (still considered preliminary)

Very close to the conjuncture....wouldn't be surprised if we see something more from this.

It is quite a ways offshore, so it probably wasn't felt too far away.



OH...and Gardener, I would have a BIG issue with 'some of the coastal States breaking off'. I'm happy right where I am, thank you.
