I love it when a topic, person is so well covered in a vid that there's nothing left to say. The speech has been covered in depth but not completely...until now.

And with that in mind...

Peace

There is absolutely nothing about this that has anything to do with the current administration. These activities have been ongoing well prior to Obama, some for decades. The White House has zero to do with the creation, approval, implementation or termination of collection methods, policies and procedures.

Nope, but he promised to stop it.

That's not accurate either. He stated that some things will stop if they are not in our national security interest. Which means nothing changes. Our interests at all levels are laid out in long lists of intelligence collection requirements that are not created or altered by politicians, this he knows. His state of the union gave USI the green light to continue mission and made me laugh

Well partially correct. He could attempt to stop it. But, rather than end up like Kennedy, he chose to get on board. Kennedy demanded to be read in on everything, including aliens. He was going to open government and disclose and also stop some of the things we are talking about.

Obama changed his tune quickly.

I for one, am not fooled on the doublespeak....be wary of the idea
that they may choose to use a third party for containment.

Problem, reaction, solution. It is a set up.

Good video - I thought if only the real speech was that clear, short and amusing.
as it might as well have been a cartoon, in reality his speech was as alive as AI.

Obamarama's principal agenda is Social Justice (whatever that means). Everything else is incidental, a bonus if you will. He doesn't care what he tears down in the process. This is the problem with electing an ideologue. You get what you ask for, even if you don't understand it at the outset.

Tesla I don't think your reply was meant for me since I solely and only commented the NSA statements and your response includes ideas that Were not introduced into the thread at the point in which I commented. If you really think it was for me I suggest going back and re looking the entries and editing your post for appropriateness to the pointed discussion that applies to the thread, up to the point of my response. Thanks and good luck

Social justice is the idea that you can use the law to enforce equality of outcome for everyone.

Anyone who thinks for just a little bit can understand why this is nothing more chasing Utopia and not possible in any real or practical way, but if you view everything he says through that lens, it all makes a lot more sense.

Exactly!! ... Whatever that means.

To my knowledge there are no laws which enforce equality in that manner. This was always the risk in the adoption of any laws regarding the esoteric of equality to begin with. All men are different ... not equal (womenzes too :lol
. The thing is ... it's okay to be different. Once one gets past that silliness, the only thing that matters is individual happiness ... and I've run across so many people who want nothing other than to stew in their unhappiness and drag everyone else down into that state with them.

Hooray Obamarama!!!

i haven't felt good about our government or country since regan was president. and then i wasn't real happy about it.
but at least back then things the government did made a little bit more sense than what it does now.

I think his success in those endeavors has largely been in part to the people you always find in the background. He's a master at guiding the herd and rounding up strays ... just like Hitler.

Obamarama doesn't scare me, but his mob does.

So he has a mob and drones?
I imagine the Inquisitor General dreamed of such a combination.

for all you people that voted for Obama, might as well leave this thread, this are just one of the hundreds of "right-wingers bash Obama threads"...they like to talk among themselves, and they simply don't want to here from anyone else.
