Syrian Electronic Army controls Facebook Domain

I saw it come across Twitter within the past 20 mins that the SEA has taken control of the domain for Facebook.com.

That was easy enough to verify by doing a whois against FB and sure enough as of 5 minutes ago most of the domain registrar info was showing something related to the SEA.

Waiting to see if more comes of it.

Looks like FB is working on it as a current whois show their normal info now.

Years ago now, Google gave up Chinese dissidents ( instead of - perhaps - saying no ). Anne Frank, anyone - hiding in the attic ?

FB ( as you call it ) is not on our side, Donald Rumsfeld had lunch with Dictators... have you ?

NSA FB GOOG so on... they do not work for US.

It wasn't quite FB but was rather the registrar they use , this article explains what was done (not how it was done) and what they are still doing...

Wondered why I keep getting SPAM from FB saying adriana has sent you a message, saw AD - part of admin and then saw IANA - on the header style whi is that you so kindly posted. Thank You, for opening our eyes. Now I can see how I lost 2 cheques for 2 seperate ebay items.
