I wish the government would take a cue from actions such as this one.

If they could get it thru their heads we are all our brothers keeper this world might be a bit better.

Our fine federal government would most likely see that large sum of cash as a sign of criminal activity, confiscate the cash and detain the owner for days of brutal interrogations until their suspect admits to laundering money, evading taxes or something illegal... Then take everything else the owner has, all assets.

Stories like this always end well.

We wound up emptying it by filling buckets, and when we got to the bottom there was close to $90,000 in gold and silver.

I believe some of the older generation remembered the depression and may have had a fear of trusting banks, or rather, the government

My husband and I can never be so lucky as to make a find such as that

So we spend a couple of bucks each week trying for the lottery. LOL
Still no winner....
