I realise this is older news, but for some reason I only recently heard about it...

There are several threads on it already but none of which covered this particular video

The thing that grabs me about this is not only that its only 10kms from my house and I missed it, which is slightly upsetting

The lights on the side of this craft are not the usual "lights in the sky" phenomenon...

you can clearly see a rectangle "window like" area on the craft....

Warning: Explicit language...

What do you think Guys & Gals?

Looks like some kind of dirigible to me. The lighting patterns on the sides seem at the right angle for that as well as the object just appears to float. Just a guess though.

Well I've lived here for about 28 years and I've never seen a dirigible even once...

Theres several other videos about this object that was seen, and it came back a few times, this wasn't the only time it appeared

Seems a little small to be a dirigible to me... plus I would think one could see the actual balloon if that was the case

The spot lights were right on the object

Well, it does somehow look like a fixed balloon or something.

But i could also imagine the conversation between the alien pilot and copilot...

Don't look in to the light!...STAY AWAY FROM THE LIGHT!!!

Here is one of the other videos.

Sorry mate but absolute rubbish

Where's the end of the video? Where's the footage of this object performing maneouvers or indeed, departing the scene? Which I'm sure it would've done if it were there to begin with. The build up to the video "not to be shared or broadcast without permission", it's on YT so what else are people going to do with it?

My point is this could be anything and in this day and age with recording equipment, if it isn't doing something truly bizarre in the sky, then it's nothing and the object in this video as mentioned, could be anything.

If one took the time to read the comments on videos like these, especially an old video, then one would see that it's not worth wasting time to post it.

It's very clear that there is a display of some sort with spotlights and a blimp/balloon that the spotlights are all coming to a point on.

No alien ship here.

I don't know it its an "alien ship" but you are incorrect about any type of display or balloon...

the spot lights are coming from the casino... which are on every night of the week...

On a side note I don't even think balloons are allowed to fly near the falls anyways.... I could be wrong about that though

This is obviously man made. Too bad.

I just found out that the spotlights belong to Niagara Fallsview Casino Resort.

Could be them making a publicity stunt, to attract attention, it was viewed and recorded by several different people over a time period of 14 days or so.

Heres another one of the same object... or objects...

Looks like the same night but again I've heard this object returned to the same spot over a few nights...

All the lights come to a point right at the object. That means it's part of the display, and it's more than likely a balloon or blimp, probably balloon.

I think I'll just do this the right way and call the casino my self and ask them so we can put this issue to rest instead of speculating for years and YEARS about what it might be.

i mean, the video was recorded in 2009 and posted in 2010. And not one single person decided to call the casino and ask about the display? Everyone would rather claim "ALIEN SHIP!!!" instead?

Lmao!

Good luck with that one... try getting any information out of that place...

that would be a miracle in itself

I guess I am confused, is this supposed to be in the air or water? The quality overall is not that great again. I would say more info is needed and hereby will label this as inconclusive. Could be anything really.

Seems like a water fall noise should be louder but then again I cannot tell where they are even at..The image is terrible dark to see anything at all but some kind of lights. The second and third videos seems to have a water fall sound though.

Balloon... searchlights...

Some sort of grand opening?

Yeah it totally makes sense that it would be a balloon of some sort, on some sort of display. A display that's up only at night, and is very poorly lit. Seems legit.

There's obviously a searchlight cart parked directly below it... the kind of cart they move around from special event to special event.

www.nasasearchlights.com...

Something else you see at promotional events are tethered balloons/blimps.

www.star-promo.com...

And searchlights work best at night. Just sayin'.

Oh I know, it's just every single promotional setup I've ever seen in my life actually served a purpose--usually to advertise. What's the point of this one though? A balloon that's hardly lit up and has nothing written on it to promote. If it's to attract people who aren't already there, to come visit the casino, then why make it so difficult to see or even notice, ESPECIALLY from a distance? It makes zero sense and would be a huge waste of money. Unless the casino says its theirs and have well-lit (daytime) pictures to go with it, I think it's pretty unlikely.

Like I said, I've seen spotlights used with things like hot-air balloons or even giant inflated gorillas, used at night at all kinds of places. Things ranging from car lots, to sporting events, to casinos, and concerts, and I have never seen one be used in such an ambiguous way. They always have some kind of writing on them, or theme to go along with whatever they're promoting, and they're always FAR more visible than this.

The second video I posted will give you an idea of where it was seen in the sky...

it gives ya a brief look at the skylon tower at the end
