Several years ago the Glasgow Musuem of Modern Art had a city mural on the wall above the stairs. The same effect as you moved across the cityscape moved in the opposite direction.

Maybe I'm biased but a 10 foot mural of a city rotating is a bit more impressive.......I wonder if the T-Rex designer visited Glasgow?

I got curious about your post so I did a quick search. I found this website with some pretty cool illusions that are similar.

Try it oot,its a peach when viewed through candle/torch light.
Glue the print out onto card for best folding.

It's an pretty old illusion mostly known as hollow-face or hollow-mask illusion. But always great to see.
Here is another example of Christ on the Passion Facade of the Sagrada Família church in Barcelona.

Keep in mind that everything you see in the video was done using projectors and two flat screens. The three dimensional stuff is in your head.
