I noticed an ad for vyvanse on the side of ats. Does this seem strange to anyone else? i find it a bit undesirable on the part of ats IF they have control over weather or not this ad shows up on the site........but i dont know that information.

I hadn't even paid any attention to it....

I think SO has a thread around here somewhere about bothersome ads, though I am not sure if this qualifies as one (no flashy lights, redirects, noise, etc.) You can give it the old college try anyway or just wait for a mod to pass it along.

ETA - Here is the link: www.abovetopsecret.com...

I believe, unless you use the link at the bottom of the page to opt out the adds are targeted to you personally, based on your browsing history.

If thats true than i wonder how a vyvanse ad got there because, i just can't think of what i searched recently that would bring that ad up. Its certainly plausible though i just don't know. i wonder if anyone does. im sure someone does

There may be a random element to it as well though, I see a lot of adds that tie in to things i look at online as well as things that don't really apply to me. Mostly though I just ignore them.

Except for that extremely annoying pop up thing that wants me to take a survey. Which of course I will not do lol.

well, the only reason i said anything about the vyvanse specifically is because that with all the talk of brainwash on here i wouldn't expect to see a compound like that advertised here.

Or maybe that's just my ignorance disallowing me to believe that vyvanse could actually help people.

Maybe TPTB are trying to subliminally condition you into taking that crap...

Well as much as I think it's a a bad drug to be advertising.
I haven't noticed it myself. I gave you a star and a flag to support your position it's an undesirable ad.

I'm always accidentally clicking the top ad when trying to click a tab. It opens in a new window ( my settings) so I just close it without even looking.

I pay no attention to ads really. There are no ads on the sides in my tablet. Just at the top.

google: ad blocker plus . You install that on firefox or chrome. Then for things like youtube videos, you don't have to watch the ads, nor will any ads show up on most sites. I don't see any ads.

I don't see how vyvanse can brainwash anyone and to let you know, ads target you from your own browsing history. That said, I like vyvanse, although I prefer my 30MG Adderall more. Helps tremendously, to focus and stay awake for work and test's. I am prescribed.

You may like some ads. Perhaps you don't like any. Perhaps it's just THIS ad you don't like. The real point is: You do not get to choose nor is it your responsibility. Your one choice in the matter is to NOT click on the ad. For most people, it's a pretty easy choice to make.
