OK rebooted. It worked. Only here at ATS it takes up 98 percent memory and virus alert goes crazy. Odd. OK back topic.

But folks reported a quake. That plant is near the New Madrid fault. That transformer put one huge explosion the for the ground to shake.


There are various electric transmission standards (how much electricity runs through the respective line). The lines coming out of the plant carry an extremely high load into the grid (if I remember right the ones located near where I live and work carry something like 400kv.

The residential lines in my area carry about 12.5kv.

Larger the volts bigger explosion.
