What disturbs me about these kinds of experiments is the potential for mind control.

What encourages me about these kinds of experiments is the potential for mind liberation. The total sum of parapsychological evidence has become overwhelming over the decades. By the standards of any other science, parapsychology would have been vindicated and accepted by mainstream science long ago. The only reason why parapsychological evidence is not disseminated throughout science is because psi is a taboo. So there are double-standards.

But experiments like this can catch the public eye despite the efforts of pseudo-skeptic activists. TPTB already know Humanity is psychic. Psi is a feature of consciousness. When the public knows that too, then culture will change. When culture changes, the taboo against parapsychology will weaken and 'the old guard' will be out of the way of parapsychology. Then the rules of science will change and Humanity will have the tools to reach its psychic potential. Then it will be impossible to manipulate Humanity with mind control.
