Sun pole reversal is happening now

There we go. It's been said that now both of it's poles are south and in about 3 weeks we will know if it happened or not yet. Will it bring some nasty show in conjunction with comet Ison passing by? My guess - yes.

Can you give a previous example of any "nasty show" from a comet ever happening with any solar reversal, ever?

I will keep my eyes on SolarHam. I am wondering how it affects the aurorae and if they react every 11 years, I never had time to study that.

The more I hear about ISON the more I think it has the characteristics of a probe... from "the ort cloud", fly by the inner planets, and now the sun during its 11 year cyclic polar shift. Interesting indeed. If I were a scientist studying us (parked in the ort cloud perhaps) I would send a probe that did these things.

That's actually quite a fascinating idea. Going full on Star Trek mode....the Ort cloud would be a perfect "Prime Directive" barrier since we can't easily access or monitor it and any civilization advanced enough to get there would most likely have instruments capable of monitoring our noisy little planet from that distance. Then knowing about the upcoming reversal, shoot a probe in that will monitor up close a solar pole shift. Perhaps they may not even know the phenomenon well enough and are just as curious. In the meantime, disguise the probe as a comet to confuse the little silly monkeys on the third rock......

given that astronomers have been monitoring solar pole shifts for a minuscule amount of time [this is the 4th, by the observatory in the article]

don't you think it's a bit early to be making such absolutist judgements?

and since when has speculating been cause for such harsh reactions?

best tone it down, as you are coming on a bit too strong,

I don't think ison is a probe but there are two objects that have been spotted parked watching the sun. Now don't flame me lol it was just pointed out on a daily youtube channel on ison. I check it cus he usually puts together pretty good down n dirty video updates. On one he pointed out the objects.

Now looks like little dot on screen but hey couple different places talked about em. For me that is star trek moment, take your ship in park and watch. I will say one thing there is a huge ars crater developed on the sun in area facing us. There is very bright light coming from the center. It is scary looking, they are waiting for this huge x flare to come blasting out possibly at at us.

Man, if one comes out of there we are fried.

According to Nasa the sun's magnetic field changes polarity approximately every 11 years.

I wanted to point that out, but carry on!

We were waiting for it for years and it's happening now coincidentally when ISON comes around? Wait for it.
I expect real maximum to come and this winter to be warmer if nothing else.

No? Thought not.

That's right. Just because we have no evidence of this happening over the last few hundred years of recorded history means it never happened over the past few hundred million years.

Not saying it will, but you need to work on your logic.

The Sun’s magnetic field reverses polarity right around the peak of the solar cycle. So, the upcoming reversal will mark the peak of Solar Cycle 24. That’s not to say that powerful solar flares won’t occur after the peak just that half of ‘solar max’ is still to come.

Solar physicist Phil Scherrer, at Stanford explains the reversal:

“The sun’s polar magnetic fields weaken, go to zero and then emerge again with the opposite polarity. This is a regular part of the solar cycle.”

During the reversal, cosmic rays made up of high-energy particles accelerated to almost light speed by supernova explosions. Such cosmic rays pose significant dangers to astronauts and to space probes. So, what negative effects should the ISS experience, if any?

It’s also thought that they may have some impact on the Earth’s climate and cloud formation. The current sheet acts as a barrier to cosmic rays, deflecting them as they attempt to penetrate the inner solar system. A wavy, crinkly sheet acts as a better shield against these energetic particles from deep space.

Solar physicist Todd Hoeksema, of Stanford University says that a complete field reversal is happening.

“This change will have ripple effects throughout the solar system.”

I know this is the fourth flip. Will this pole exchange be any different than the previous reversed polarities?

What’s interesting about all of this is that X class are the biggest ones! The biggest X class that has ever been recorded is X28

The last time this happened was about 10,000 years ago at the end of the last ice age. DHS is currently prepping for something major with most preparations needed to be complete by October. Could they also know of a big event that is about to take place & effect the entire world

This is interesting because I saw some really strange aurora-like lights in the sky last night that seemed completely out of place toward the south. But, they only lasted for a second before disappearing. The first one I saw I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because it was just in my peripheral vision and by the time I looked directly towards it it was already gone. The second one happened in about the same area around 15 minutes or so later and I saw it directly in front of me so I don't think it was my eyes playing tricks anymore. Both times it was a green colored glow in the clear night sky, yet they flashed as quickly as lightning.

Well something is going on, thats for sure! Ison keeps changing, wait................ Who is getting sick of hearing its Normal? Oh, it gets better. One would think NASA would have know there would have been 5 Comets since Jan only forgot to tell us this. Someone did say the reason fema was in 3 was because of the huracane season coming up. Okay, thats sounds good or at least has some truth in it!

Now the Sun. So it is acting up as it does every 11 yrs. Except a twist. Pun So what does that really mean for us? Has anybody see the you tube vid about the sun actually moves while we follow it, in a spiral sort of way? Would explain the mayans idea of going through the center.

Now the UFO's, interesting since they have been around for such a long time you have to wonder what they are doing. Now if you would like to ponder why they are always flying around when theres some major problems going on. Anyone care to say it could have been worst without them? Again a vid on you tube on sept 17-19 on a fireball that one Did Something to it, blew it up, odd to see a light ball go into one at 25,000 mph and come out the other end intact!

Now this leave one to consider 2 things. We either have a super space station that can take out fireballs or they are here to help! If their was some Law out there that another could not intervene with the path humans take, does not mean not giving out a hand.

We either take Nasa/Gov word for it or something else is in play. Funny how their words do not line up with the things that are happening. Everything just fine, no need to worry.

When have you heard that and know its a lie? Maybe US sold some land to China, or had to. One may never know until it happens. Best to keep an open mind and enjoy Life as it is now. Or just in case, stock up!
