The RPK-8 antisub rocket system is designed to engage subs torpedoes and frogmen. It comprises the RBU-6000 Rocket Launcher, antisub rockets, fire control system, and storage, transportation and loading facilities. The rocket with underwater projectile is fitted with a HE direction warhead. The projectile is seperated from the rocket as soon as the latter enters the water. Firing data are generated on the basis of target coordinates supplied by ship sonars.





wouldn't want to be against any ship that had this system it has 12 rockets in a salvo. And a range of 600 metres any sub that gets close is dead meat! Russia sure does have some cool weapons.
