On 60 Minutes last night it was reported that Osama Bin Laden has gotten a fatwa or treatise [religious permission] to use nuclear weapons on America.
This has reportedly come from Saudi sheik Hamid bin Fahd.
Does anyone still think that Osama Bin Laden isn't important?
Considering the recent record of the FBI, CIA and Military intel I have zero confidence that they can or will prevent this.
Complicit in this is the Administration's and Congress'es lack of attention acquiring nuclear materials from the old Soviet Union and around the
world.
It might be a 'dirty' bomb which while only marginally destructive and killing power, could leave a large section of a city unusable for decades.
Or it could be a full blow nuclear warhead, purchased from ex-Soviet sources, North Korea, Pakistan or eventually Iran.
I haven't found a source that did not spring from the 60 minutes report.
