Hey, ATS.

A new documentary has just been released. The film was produced by Julian Assange himself, and it covers WikiLeaks journalists as they travel throughout the world.

Here is an official quote from the description of the documentary:

A small group of Wikileaks journalists make their way through Central Asia interviewing newspaper editors. Their real goal: to find local media outlets to publish secret US diplomatic cables. This intelligent, guerrilla-style doc follows their fascinating journey from Afghanistan to Manhattan, through the boundaries of free speech and the minds of those who shape our understanding of the world.

The documentary does cost money, however, if you are a UK resident, or have access to a UK IP, you can watch the movie for free here:

If you use Firefox or Chrome, you should be able to download an IP add on, which masks your real IP address. Some have alternative British IP's of which you could use in order to watch the documentary.

Just a note, the documentary will be free to individuals with UK IP's for this weekend only (due to WikiLeaks competing against the release of The Fifth Estate). After that, the movie will cost money internationally.

Really enjoyed it, said a helluva lot without having to say it, I don't want to put any spoilers, but would recommend.

The filming had a really beautiful quality to some of the scenery and the music was cool.

The truth is more entertaining than lies

I think you need to be a member on that site, and/or pay a small fee.

Holy feck, less than a few minutes in you discover one guy was detained for five years, for US third party intelligence gathering purposes, in other words for feck all.

I am ashamed that we Brits, the Irish and whoever else were party to that in the rendition flights. Disgusting.
