Would you also call attention to Cruz and other TP members constant usage of the term Nazi as well?

Actually the term 'Nazi" is accurate or “fascist Third Way” but that got a bit tainted during W.W.II So it is now being rebranded as “Market Socialism”

We know it here at ATS as Neo-Corporatism.

Going from the extreme left you have Communism where there is ONE corporation and it IS the government. Next is Classical Socialism with it’s state planning boards and commissions. A bit further to the right is what the Fabians, Bill Clinton, FDR and Wilson all had high praise for, it is called The Third Way. This is government – corporation “cooperation” the same process / tendency that Ike warned about in his “Military Industrial Complex” speech. Further to the right are various levels of a mixed economy and to the far right Dog-eat-Dog “laissez faire” with huge numbers of competitors.

In the Third Way you have more central planning and more central “regulation” since there is government – corporation “cooperation” and a lot fewer competitors (Think government-corporate revolving door) you end up with Oligopolies that are essentially guaranteed by the government. Who dominates the Home Mortgage Market? Fanny & Freddy – Gov’t Corporations. Who dominates the Student Loan Market? Sally Mae – a Gov’t Corporation. Who dominates US Autos? GM – a Gov’t Corporation via Nationalization, but now being sold off. (Though Ford is doing well too.) And who “Calls the Tune” for the Banks in America? ALL of them? The Federal Reserve Bank – a Gov’t sponsored corporation. And there are a whole lot more of them.

Sound familiar? OH, and don't forget the World Trade Organization and the closed door meetings between government and corporate heads on TAFTA.

Once corporations figured out that it is cheaper and easier to get the competition banned and themselves mandated, than it is to create new products; and that they can make lots of money as the sole provider of a crappy product but not that much making good products in a competitive market; well, lets just say that the political contributions flow…

Archer Daniels Midland Co is a very good example. From Mother Jones: Dwayne's World Dwayne Andreas has made a fortune with the help of politicians from Hubert Humphrey to Bob Dole. But, he says, their talk of "free markets" is just wind.

...Andreas announces that global capitalism is a delusion. "There isn't one grain of anything in the world that is sold in a free market. Not one! The only place you see a free market is in the speeches of politicians. People who are not in the Midwest do not understand that this is a socialist country."

It might seem odd that a man with personal assets well into nine figures would be so quick to hoist the red flag of socialism over the American heartland. But Andreas is essentially right....

The TP is cutting their own throats. Their big mistake was getting regular GOP members po'd at them. Their second mistake was getting Wall Street mad because they are biting the hand that feeds it.

Do you even read anything in the thread before you comment?

I read everything in the thread, and starred his post. I agree that the TP is cutting thier own throats, but also cutting the throats of the GOP, the economy, and the entire US.

I have never voted. OTOH, ALL of my political contributions have gone to true Tea Party affiliates. I think the latter has been more greatly appreciated.

ETA: There's no doubt that the GOP and the Dems are in on this together. Just look at what was going on in the IRS and when it started. Unfortunately, I think the TP is a day late and a dollar short.

Very good point if this whole dismantling wasn't sanctioned by both parties the republicans would have been calling for impeachment. It would have exposed that they are all secretly on the same team.
