Of course you would have to be warm at night to be able to use it. The hands are the first part of the body to get cold on a cold night.

In theory it seems a good idea but maybe not practical at all in some places.

pretty cool idea...

the light doesn't seem very bright..additionally, i dislike how uppity she is, and i also dislike the way she says the words "tile" and "volt"

that is all.

You'd need a heat dump to get a temperature differential across the module. It would have to be shaded, with fans. Even then it won't be much. You can do better with quantum thermionic modules but it's still a low quality heat source. If you've got that much sunlight you'd be better off with solar cells.
