Arrest of David Connor Castellani is the video name. Shocking demonstration on how not to arrest someone. I truly hope that each officer is held accountable to the same degree any civillian were to be in the same situation. I know it wont happen but I dream.

Another disgusting show of police abuse was caught on surveillance camera, showing five Atlantic City police officers beating, punching and kneeing a man repeatedly before a sixth officer drives up and sics a dog on the man.

The 20-year-old man, David Connor Castellani, was charged with aggravated assault. The video shows he did no such thing. The altercation begins just after the 3:00 mark.

PINAC

Watch at your own risk. You might feel the urgent desire to go out and do illegal things to the smurf squad:

Well considering how everyone around the world knows how dim and barbaric the American police are, what did he expect. It looks like he had multiple chances to walk away and instead decided to repeatedly shout his mouth off. It's clearly a disgusting display not far removed from wretched beheadings of the animals of islam, but the lazy American public let it get this way.

Noone expects to be assaulted untill it happens to them. And how do you make this "shouting his mouth off"? Did you get the audio track from some place?

I think it's clear from his body language. He obviously wasn't doing some kind of creative dance, and I'm not defending these awful pigs in any way. Stop looking for an argument.

Not much more needs to be said than this.

If me and five other friends were being yelled at and flipped off and we went after the guy and brutally beat him, and sicced our dog on him, we would be charged with assault at least if not attempted murder.

You have not excused these police but only confirmed that these particular ones are nothing more than thugs like any other street gang.

Maybe he is like me and is yelling compliments and praises to the cops. That's what I do to bullies and aggressive people.

That is awful but not wholly unexpected these days. What bothers me most is how the dog "handler" (I use the term loosely here) allows the dog to bite him around the head and neck. There was no need for the dog to attack anyway as he was already under control. This is an exhibition of pure reckless aggression and punishment.

I'd be the first to admit he could have walked away but does seem to continually harangue the officers. Lesson #1 here people: don't do what he did. This does not excuse the officers for anything and I would amazed if the kid didn't need stitches in his head, neck or ear and end up with some broken ribs. I haven't checked the link yet but I want the backstory here so I'll take a look.

Why are these cops so aggressive and brutal?
Happens far, far too often.

ETA: Just read the article - 200 stitches and nerve damage to his neck. That K9 officer should be fed to some lions, this wasn't his first time going too far apparently it's a habit with him

Wow... just WOW!

Your streets are full of crazed insane thugs! You'd be more safe WITHOUT a police force!

I watched this clip with the sound muted but regardless of what he said or shouted or even his body language it shouldn't have taken 7 thugs of police plus a K9 dog handler who let his dog bite him on the head and neck when he was clearly on the ground.
Those so called people of the law should be thrown in jail in the general population so that others can have a go at them.
This was disgraceful and an independent enquiry should be set up. They are not above the law even though they think they are.
Police brutality at its worst or then again, is this what your police have turned into?

What really amazes me is that you haven't seen the emergence of a sort of reverse Dexter, a serial killer that kills cops (and their supervisors) who've been rubber stamped by IA and the police unions. It would be a target rich environment, and he'd have the support of a huge percentage of the citizenry.

Imagine the reaction if after something like this, you lost one or two of the on-scene cops, the supervisor who says 'It was within policy', one of the IA staff that rubberstamped it, someone off the prosecutor's team that declined to investigate and maybe a FOP official.

At that point, it would become a bit more 'real' to the management. Hm...if I rubberstamp this arsehole and put him back on the street, I might end up with an arrow in my neck...maybe we ought to actually investigate. It could happen.

Seems almost always that officers at the scene always want to get a piece of whoever is the target. Reminds me a of feeding frenzy.

Seems we have a class system in America.

That was just sickening, and the dog at the end, how is it even justifiable?

When will it be enough? When it happens to you? What do we even do at this point?

This type of behavior has become the culture, how is this any different from what bloods and crips do to those who 'disrespect' them?

Kneeing the back of the head while you already have men on top of you, it's illegal to knee someone in the back of the head in MMA but seems cops do it with glee.

And the cop that came at him swinging, pathetic, everyone a hard ass with a crew behind them, seriously. We all know, no real punishment will come their way.

Just another day in Merica.

Why don't police get in real trouble for arresting people falsely, charging you with a crime you did not commit. Disgust.

Serve and Protect my foot, more like can't wait to beat you senseless so that you respect my POWER.

This big ol' boy acts drunk, is yelling at the cops, giving them the finger, and actually runs towards the cops at one point. I'm not faulting the cops on this one.

Really don't see how it gives them the right to go at him with a vengeance wanting to inflict harm, They suppose to be professional, not just another dude on the street who 'ain't no punk'.

6 big bad asses couldn't subdue that guy without kneeing him in the head and beating in like a prison gang would and then siccing an attack dog?

imagine if anyone else had done that to him.

Drunk or Not, Mouthy or Not.

We are crossing a scary line if you think this behavior is acceptable let alone commend it, that or youre just playing the part.

if i am not mistaken these thugs were standing around gloating at their victim after they had beaten the absolute snot out of this guy....200 stitches....wow ...just when i thought i had seen it all....the beating was uncalled for and the dog attack that is just ruthless....clearly these peace officers come from violent backgrounds ...that is the only explanation for them acting like this...it all starts with the training....these coppers are nothing but thugs with badges...i would bet they will all sit around having drinks later and laughing how they got the bad guy...just sickening.....

Isn't it obvious? These cops were playing too much GTA V. Blame video games.

That was disturbing.

I was already fairly appalled before the dog got in on the action. That K9 officer should be charged with felony assault. Letting a dog start biting someone's neck while they are on the ground and getting the crap beat out of them is essentially attempted murder in my opinion. Those GSDs can really clamp down, and ALLOWING that to happen on someone's neck is asking for them to hit something vital. Something that could cause the guy to bleed out before the paramedics arrived 8 minutes later. The dog was already too much, but the slack leash while it gnawed on the guys neck was WAY over the top.

I don't mind police using pain compliance when someone resists. It's incredibly hard to handcuff someone who is fighting, even with 2 or 3 people. This was not normal pain compliance (hitting legs, torso with fists or baton). It went far beyond, and then there was the dog and the handler who almost ran over the guys head.

None of those cops had a tazer?

The guy was clearly drunk, and was acting like a jackass. He should have been arrested. He should not have had the crap beat out of him. He should not have been a chew toy, and I really hope his mother exaggerated when she said he had to have 200 stitches.

Usually I find police brutality videos blown WAY out of proportion, but this guy was clearly a victim of it. If he had a gun and just killed someone I could maaaaaybe understand the overwhelming force used against him, but this just reeks of mob mentality and butthurt feelings.

I wonder what the guy on the PTZ was thinking. Since the video was leaked I bet he was pretty shocked as well. GJ on the security guard at the casino (I suppose I'm making assumptions but seems about right, right?) for posting this. I hope it was a bid to see justice served and not another attention whoring attempt.

You do realize that there is no law against any of that? It's in fact perfectly legal to give the middle finger to a cop. Anything untill up to the point of actually threatening them is lawfull.

I have warned my daughters from visiting USA. The streets are not safe anymore. Too many cromags running around, of which most are stark raving mad cops. Many high on drugs.

Heard from an ex police chief in Las Vegas that 90% of the Police there is completely corrupt and the core morality is rock bottom amongst the old guard.

I moved to Europe many years ago and police here is still fair and well behaved but signs of a tougher attitude is even starting here too.
