because i never knew

Because i never knew
i lost control
i went through the madness
i fell through the holes

because i never knew
i lost what my mind was
i gave up to the images
and desire was my guide

because i never knew
i lost myself too many times
i found myself and forgot that too
this snake keeps moving
around

because i never knew
i denied the truth
forgot my youth
a fog of false memory
became truth

now if i deny myself
will it save me?
will i lose control again
and then enslave me
because now that i know
i cannot turn again
from the love of God
creator and father
of eternal truth.

Very interesting poem. It's interesting how people want control or else they feel "enslaved". Remember, freedom of responsibility (decisions/control) is also a type of freedom.

I am not advocating any particular view here, I am just giving an alternative perspective to see from.
